In another thread here someone was looking for a USL specific talk show or a show that at least discussed one of the teams. The show I am on is the latter. Name of the show is "The Throw-in". We broadcast live every Sunday at 9am on 104.9 The Horn FM. We do have a whole segment on the Austin Aztex, but also we discuss most of the major leagues, cups, and news in the soccer world. Basically everything we can fit within an hour (we are working towards a two hours show). Also we do get interviews with people from the Aztex, soccer pundits, hardcore soccer fans here in Austin, and we hope to have a few special guest for Women's World Cup. I hope you don't mind me plugging the show here. I have toiled for years towards a break in the broadcast industry. I luckily happen to love the game and doing the show. While the majority of people still overlook the beautiful game (and the smirks still come from the other sports talk guys), I know the demand for more soccercentric content will grow! I am always looking for feedback, so just toss us on in the background and see if we catch your attention.
