Thanks for the info, the second is on my to watch list, but the first I didn't realize was streamable. I don't know how to watch the many European movies that I have no easy access to. (I also don't want to own a DVD collection) Some guy in Australia is trying to come up with a biz to make it possible to stream all soccer movies. Gracie was really well-intentioned, but I just felt it was pretty slow...

"The Miracle of Bern" is an excellent drama and one of the top soccer movie moneymakers. http://www.soccermoviemom.com/the-miracle-of-bern-2003
Reviewed my first Australian soccer movie - "Total Football: the Movie". It's not about Dutch soccer; it's a comedy about an Aussie rec team of 30 year olds. The writer-director re-edited this film, which was originally released in 2009 as "Offside". http://soccermoviemom.com/total-football-the-movie-2009
"On Angel's Wings" is another Christian family film from UPTV that uses soccer (bad soccer) to deliver its message. http://soccermoviemom.com/on-angels-wings-2014
Teufelskicker is a kick of a football film. It’s Shaolin Soccer without the CGI. Mixes Parkour stunts with soccer. It is a well-crafted movie based on the eponymous German children’s books by Frauke Nahrgang. http://www.soccermoviemom.com/teufelskicker-2010
Bush League is an ethnographic study of Malawi villagers, where a Peace Corps volunteer gets involved with a soccer team and builds a schoolhouse. http://www.soccermoviemom.com/bush-league-2010

"When Saturday Comes" (1996) is one of the few soccer feature films directed by a woman. Unfortunately, it's pretty average, but there are plenty of shots of Sean Bean's derriere. http://soccermoviemom.com/when-saturday-comes-1996
"AFC Bournemouth: Together, Anything is Possible" is an inspiring documentary by Men in Blazers Roger Bennett. How they went from near relegation out of pro football to the Premier League in 7 seasons. Watch it online. http://www.soccermoviemom.com/afc-bournemouth-2015/

If you are a Liverpool or Everton fan, you will enjoy the antics when one neighbor is Red and next door is Blue. Has some pretty good songs, taunts, and even a battle rap. http://www.soccermoviemom.com/reds-and-blues-2010
I just discovered an awesome soccer kung fu movie from 1983: "Boh ngau" (The Champions). The soccer tricks in this movie are 30 years ahead of their time. The movie pre-dates Shaolin Soccer by almost 20 years and does not use CGI. http://soccermoviemom.com/boh-ngau-1983
A great documentary from Men in Blazers Roger Bennett on "The Goalkeepers' Union". In this NBCSN documentary, Rog asks all the questions you'd ever want to ask 4 Premier League GKs. http://soccermoviemom.com/the-goalkeepers-union-2015
"Street Soccer: New York" is definitely the most uplifting of the 3 films I have seen on the Homeless World Cup. Chris Wondolowski is the National Ambassador for Street Soccer USA. http://soccermoviemom.com/street-soccer-new-york-2013
In "Pups United", soccer, dogs, and 2 bumbling criminals make a comedic family film. http://soccermoviemom.com/pups-united-2015

"Baghdad Messi" is an 18-minute film that broke my heart. Almost made the final cut for 2014 Oscar nominees, and director Sahim Omar Kalifa is in the running for a 2015 nomination. http://soccermoviemom.com/baghdad-messi-2012 "Mr. Smith" is Jeremy Santolin's 12-minute documentary on Matt Smith an A-League player who turned pro at age 27. http://soccermoviemom.com/mr-smith-2014
"World Cup Soccer in Africa: Who Really Wins?" is a 2010 documentary on the hypocrisy of spending money to build stadiums in South Africa for FIFA when there were so many social ills there. Of course, the FIFA policy was then repeated in Brazil, and Qatar is actually creating new social problems in that country. Stuffed with details to illustrate the points. Original title was "Fahrenheit 2010". http://soccermoviemom.com/fahrenheit-2010
Jerome Thelia's "Bounce: How the Ball Taught the World to Play" is a fascinating and thought-provoking documentary that explores why ball play is so instinctive and ball games are so important to us. http://soccermoviemom.com/bounce-ball-2015
This movie was a surprise. Steven Nijjar's 1995 film is a Canadian martial arts and soccer kick, and is the first feature film directed by Jon Cassar (24 and La Femme Nikita). Erik Estrada is the bad guy. http://www.soccermoviemom.com/the-final-goal-1995
