if we want to get a banner or a flag for our group I found this site http://www.bannersasap.com/ they also do the philadelphia city flag if anyone wanted to get one, and they're based out of Philadelphia, which is nice.
but can they make one that's almost 130,000 SF in size?! crap, that's almost 3 acres!! is that large enough to build a SSS on?
Biggest bump ever. Instructive to see how the JF came about and how many free lunches Andy, rightfully, earned.
Considering we're only 64 days away from First Kick, and we're actually picking our season ticket location tomorrow, I thought we'd give this bad boy a little bump for nostalgic purposes. I can't believe how long ago this was. We've moved, fell in love, lost SoBs, met amazing friends, traveled thousands of miles together, drank a lot of drinks (or swore them off), and watched kids grow. Here's to the beginning.
As was posted in the swag thread, you know the SoBs have hit the big time when the Jolly Franklin is available on Objectivo.
I would like to thank everyone for this trip down memory lane. I'm bummed I missed out on all the '07 fun, but, in hindsight, it all came together exactly as it was supposed to. I didn't even know SoB existed until I saw an Inquirer with 3 esteemed gentlemen in a color photo on the cover. From there, it was here to this board, then MTO, and the rest, for me, is history. This is probably going to be condensed into a 40-70 second montage in the SoB movie, but I'm glad I got to read it. I am honored to have made some incredibly psychotic friends, and am eternally grateful for opening my eyes to a world I never dreamed existed. Who was the asshole with a DC United logo for an avatar? Someone needs to slap the taste out of that punk's mouth...
Nice!!! Never knew Mr. Dietrich also has a time machine concession!! Awesome read - and kudos to all you elders who thought up and created the Jolly Franklin, especially Dill0n and who ever came up with that incredible idea of a kite as logo shape...
