those t-shirt creation websites don't limit the amount of colors for various graphics and logos, so we're not limited by that, fyi.

oh, and those aren't lightning bolts beneath the skull ... those were i-don't-know-if-anything-should-go-here-scribbles.

i've committed to getting it done by sunday, for 'official' debut on monday. there's a bit more work to be done to it now than originally planned, but i'm still confident i can crank it out by then (at least a b&w version).

I was thinking more for widespread printing...I can get one color printing on t-shirts for $8 or less. Which would mean we could sell them for $10 and still add $2 each shirt to the tailgate fund or to the community relations fund

Not sure why, there has been 3-4 MLS groups with skulls in last year and just us for all the time before, have people finally discovered a skull or something? :D

You're taking away from the effect a grand unveiling!!

Also, that dark blue text is hard to see against the background.

to beat SP to the punch, where are his bifocals?! :p

as i already told you, i think the font is a bit difficult to read. and maybe you could lose the stars in his vest, since he's not uncle sam. and thanks for leaving the racial slurs out.
    ;)

thanks for cranking this out so quickly. i asked him if he'd be interested in doing another logo yesterday afternoon, and voila, we have it already. is this a product photoshop or illustrator? my hat off to you ... and rep to go with it (DOH! an IOU is in order).

yah it was pretty easy actually...I spent some time trying to get a regular militia soldier painting in the same style as that Uncle Sam but had a tough time so in the end I just used the original and, from there, it didnt take that long. the only photoshop portion that was done was putting Ben's head on it. the rest was illustrator.

I see tshirts in the logo's future :D

What about the quote Hang Together instead...based on his utterance at the signing of The Declaration of Independence - "We must all hang together, or assuredly we shall all hang separately."

do we know what the object in his right hand is? looking at the original image (on THIS POST) it looks like a wrench. is there any way to make it soccer-specific?

    again, great work man.

how about - We the People ... are gonna kick your a**! <--- not serious

    Another great quote

Poor Dick, eats like a well man, and drinks like a sick.

Sounds like our tailgate already has a name. :)

    Dear Mr DelRossi

I hope you don't mind that I made some tweaks on your excellent design. I wanted a non-Old English typeface that looked like something Franklin would have printed.

I arrived at Adobe Font Serlio LT Std. I also changed the phrasing under the picture.

I obviously can't speak for everyone, but I think I like the previous quote. Those that don't know the "Hang Together" quote will find it a bit generic.
