    Just to let people know:

    1) Our normal 4-6 week turnaround for new memberships may be extended a little bit for the next few weeks as we try to fix some problems in our process. Hopefully this will mean faster turnaround in future.

    2) We will be ending our 2010 membership drive on August 31. 2011 memberships will be available shortly thereafter. Current members will get an email about renewals.

    3) If you chose the pickup option back when we offered one and have not yet picked up your membership packet, you will be receiving an email shortly with instructions on how you can pay for shipping, or you can pick up your packet at the next few weekend home tailgates.

Cool, new jerseys for next year? Hopefully a little larger next year as the original ones are a bit tight for a 6'2", 235 lb guy...

    a little tight?

imagine if you're 6'7", 290lbs.....wasn't so much a jersey as a sausage casing.

good thing too because I've been playing my number straight and box. I'll be pretty ticked off if I get a new number next year and my old number hits!!:D

Good on keeping the numbers. I managed to lose my membership card for this year so I'll be looking forward to getting a new one with the number on it for future tailgating.

Can we consider the possibility of a more permanent membership card? Maybe something plastic like a credit card (or at least the fake credit cards they send you to get you to sign up)?

Paper stuff tends to take a beating in my extremely disorganized wallet.

If you cover it with clear contact paper it holds up pretty well.

Actually, the current membership cards are plastic, although we may be switching to paper at some point for cost and logistical reasons. Credit card type cards aren't an option right now.

Question that is sort of related... Do the membership numbers go by tens or was I just one of the 10% of people to have theirs end in 0?

How about RFID cards so we can access the clubhouse when we get one ;)

On another thread, someone mentioned picking up a membership packet at a tailgate. Is this possible? I joined SOB a few weeks ago- is it an option to pick up membership stuff at a match?

    Thanks,
    Henry

No. We offered this option initially, but so many people failed to pick up their packets it created huge headaches for our volunteers. Everything is now mailed.
