    actually finished it the other day. very enjoyable & funny(as you'd expect from something written in conjunction with When Saturday Comes).

    Man's Fate by Andre Malraux, which is interesting. I'm not sure I like the way he writes but it's an area of history I've never read about. Chinese insurrection of 1927.

    I still want to see that movie since it was filmed in the ballpark I went to as a kid.

    I'm drawing a blank: what ballpark was it filmed in? Good movie, by the way (well, it's John Sayles).

    Finished An African in Greenland. Interesting book. Come winter time, those Greenlanders really start to party. To such an extent that, had Charles Bukowski ever come across them, Buk might've said, "you know, I think there's entirely too much drinking going on here. We need to put a bit more structure in our lives, that's all I'm saying..."

    Currently reading another Bryson book:

    Not as funny as the Appalachian trail book, but still pretty interesting.
