Great show. I like the layers of the con and how "getting close" to the mark undermines it. The season finale was great as well. Can't wait for the next season!
Has anyone been watching this? I only just discovered it. It's pretty great, in spite of the somewhat silly name. Basically Giovanni Ribisi plays a newly released con-man who owes a mobster 100000 dollars and hides away with the grandparents of his former cell mate, pretending to be said cell mate (the grandparents in question did not see him in twenty years time). He helps out his 'cousin' in running his 'grandparents' bail bonds business. Bryan Cranston is an executive producer on the show and plays the main antagonist but what makes it so enjoyable is the fact that Graham Yost (of "Justified" and "The Americans" fame) is the showrunner and he combines similar dialogues to "Justified" with many cast members from both "Justified" and "The Americans": Margo Martindale, Alison Wright, Karolina Wydra, Jacob Pitts, ...

So I'm up to episode 7 and there is something I don't understand. When detective Winslow kidnaps Katie and Brendon's daughter, they already know he is a police detective by the time they return home to find him waiting in their kitchen with their daughter. But they haven't met him before, have they? Or did I forget about a scene? So how do they know he is a police detective? @Boandlkramer can you help me out?

No, Katie is the woman who used to be Pete's partner before he got with Karolina. The woman who is now together with the construction worker dude, Brendon. They have a kid together (though neither of them is the girl's biological parent).
