I've created the Small Rocks 2017-18 League and sent invites to join to the 8 managers. Once everyone has joined we can get someone to volunteer to be the Draft Administrator. FPL has their own version of a Draft League that, a) has no price cap consideration; b) has no captaincy/vic-captaincy; c) has a weekly waiver system to acquire free agents; and d) a new chip where a manager can replace his or her entire squad for one week and still get back their squad from the previous week. Would the Small Rocks 2017-18 managers like to also create a league in the FPL Draft fantasy soccer game?

If we think we can get the draft in with enough time beginning August 1st, that is awesome for my schedule. I realize however that it may be bad for others so I'll do what I need to do. I am home the night of the 31st so I could even start then if it helps. I leave this Saturday for an extended trip but will check in regularly starting now. I went in to the draft last year knowing less than ever before (nothing really) and did better than I've ever done, so it stands to reason that my draft prep should again be zero!
I can begin 7/29 onward. I have just moved and may have phone internet only but that shouldn't be a problem. Just limiting. Haven't had a chance to see the draft version but am willing to give it a test run while keeping our regular fpl leagues running.
Good to know Top Shelf is back and Small Rocks is complete. As no-one has come forward to volunteer, I have set up the Very Small Rocks League. I believe we still need to hear from Keysersoze Wanderers before the league set-up is complete. We will also have a Small Rocks Challenge Cup between our two leagues. No holidays planned ...... so available as & when ... Who is in what time zone ? I'm UTC +8 , location Perth WA. As for the EPL draft, let it go. Unless everybody makes a wishlist it auto allocates ..... Only way around that is to do a draft prior to it auto allocating & then every trades among themselves until teams are correct on the site ? Only other option all 8 are online at the same time. (Highly unlikely).

Since I have everyone's email, is it OK if I put the emails into a random draft order generator and we can plan these next 12 days based on our actual draft position? Or do you all want to keep up the suspense and not determine the draft order until later???

Due to my timezone location & the affect on the draft, hence I was going to be happy with either 1st or 8th ..
August 1 is the draft start date with Muppets first pick and he locks down the FPL Player Roster at that time. Any subsequent additions/deletions to the FPL Players will have to be addressed in the Post-Draft squad adjustment period. As Muppets has the first pick and a -8 GMT time zone, he can actually post it in advance, and we lock down the FPL Player list at 0001 AM EDT on August 1 when FC Weymouth might make his pick. Of course, FC Weymouth might wait until 6-8 AM EDT to make his pick. We'll see how the draft rotations work after a round or two as we only have one drastically different time zone drafter and Raurie gets to make two picks in a row after his Round 1 pick.
I know my first pick , so you can lock down whenever you wish & we can go from there. Also has the google doc been created ? I take it once the player list is locked the draft thread will be up & running ?
