Does anyone have a Slingbox? Is it any good? I am debating buying one and installing it at my parents house so I can watch Eagles games.

If someone does have one, mind if I try it? I want to see what it's like before I decide to buy it.

I have one - it's good. I'll send you the code when I find it. I use it to watch the 3pm Chelsea games on FSC when I'm back home visiting my family :D

I don't see how it can work well unless you have a really good and fast connection at both ends.

It works beautifully as most internet connections these days are broadband.

I have the cheapest wireless router at home which my Slingbox is plugged into and when I was at Long Beach airport on their free wifi I was able to watch a baseball game from home (and change the channels) in very clear format.

The buffering is key - your picture will slip behind the live picture but as it stores extra information the end results is a smooth tv. On a laptop the picture quality is fine.

BTW - I still can't get your Slingbox to work.

Sweet. I read Stuff magazine and they absolutely rave about Slingbox.
