    Don't think so as he was in the squad the last couple times. He got the shoulder so that Cristante gets in.

    0-5 with a Talisca hatrick. Cant really argue with Talsica's performance and guess will remain in the second striker role.

    Saturday (today) 27th at 18:30.

    If we win we will be 4 ahead of Porto and 6 ahead of Sporting.

    Lista de convocados:

    Guarda-redes - Artur Moraes e Bruno Varela;

    Defesas - Lisandro Lopez, Maxi Pereira, Luisão, Jardel e Eliseu;

    Médios - André Almeida, Enzo Perez, Gaitán, Salvio, Talisca, Ola John, Samaris e Cristante:

    Avançados - Lima, Derley e Nélson Oliveira.

    Bruno Varela makes the squad from the B side :thumbsup: with César injured? Pizzi and Tiago are also out.

    Rumours that Derley might start instead of Lima.

    Sunday the 5th at 18:00.

    Probably another good victory that will not cover-up anymore our decrease in quality and maybe more so JJ's capacity for European tactical misadventure.

    Júlio César (35) is out injured for an indeterminate time for an ongoing back problem that dates back 11 years but has got worse lately. Wow, the only good thing about this is that there is a 5% chance Varela the B side GK gets a game, hopefully does well during a Artur suspension and Lopes injury and is maintained. Another blunder by SLB!

    Jonas the new striker will play against Arouca this Sunday confirmed by JJ.

    SP Braga 2 SLB 1.

    Brag should of had 2 penalties and still won 2-1.

    Samaris is not at the level right now so Almeida should start next to Enzo & we are not the same team as last year, we have lost a considerable amount of quality, and so should play a 3 man midfield. This should of happened today as soon as it became apparent that we were losing the midfield.

    When we do not play the bottom half and all European games.

    --------Artur/Julio
    Maxi Luisão López (he has been disappointing so far)/Jardel/César Eliseu (-50% 2013/14)
    Enzo Almeida
    Talisca
    Salvio Gaitán
    Jonas (Tiago/Derley/Lima)

    Samaris is crap. Agreed that we should use Almedia in there or at the very least have him come in early second half if things are not working well. I would prefer to start Almeida though

    Almeida started today as Eliseu was injured and was ok.
    Jonas was a slight disappointment even though he did nothing really wrong per se.
    Talisca gets the points with his 8th in the first 9 games.
    Pizzi came on and played in the Enzo role and played well.

    CD Nacional 1 SLB 2

    Lucky today keeper 'unfortunate' on both goals. Jonas was offside in our second goal. Nacional had a dangerous attack falsely ruled offside and could of drawn it at the end.

    Probably the worst Benfica team of the JJ era so far?

    Without a doubt but we were expecting that too. Im surprised we are still in first place to be honest. I wish we had kept our youth players and used them this year. It would have been the perfect opportunity. I bet you they would have performed better than some of the guys we have now too.......

    Without a doubt, our b team is getting so over crowded by talent and they don't get the opportunity. Obviously Gaitan and Salvio are JJ saviours but I'm getting sick of seeing them every game.
