Rakitic awful there. Almost a goal on that turnover.

Heart attack games wont just stop in cl, too many complaisant players like Pique and Alba. In the end nobody knew how to play football.

Rakitic lost the ball and ran back as if he had played 90 mins. Valverde needs to keep Arthur in for the whole 90 in these situations.

Vidal too was just posting in midfield when Slavia was knocking, there was shot of Valverde shouting at him.

It's a mystery that we are leading the group with no losses, playing worse every game.

We were lucky to draw the first match against Dortmund, lucky to beat Inter, and now lucky to beat Slavia, yet here we sit on 7 points and after Inter won at home we are alone at the top of the group, 7, 4, 4, 1. And hopefully we'll look more comfortable hosting Slavia in a couple weeks and get to 10 points while one or both of Inter and BVB are stuck on 4 or 5 points.

and then what? qualify just to be humiliated in the next round? You don't win shit for winning the group and qualifying. Valverde will have a hattrick of humiliating exit in CL.

The amount of clear chances teams create against us is so alarming.

Another humiliation in the CL is inevitable if EV gets to manage the whole season.

Suarez without a goal in almost five years in CL yet Griezman is subbed. I wonder which club Griezman will be loaned out to next season.

Didn't watch the match (only have time lately to watch the more important La Liga games) but from the sounds of it another sub-par performance by Messi (by his lofty standards). Getting worrisome...

Yeah, like I said I didn't see this match. Just going by the above comments. He also had miss in the Eibar match similar to that chance he missed against Liverpool, and stole a sitter from Griezmann.

But this is only comparing to his high standards...

He messed up that clear goal scoring chance and a pass on a 3 v 1 breakaway to put the game away. He tried to pass the ball too close the defender. But then again, he delivered the goal and an assist and created some other chances. Frankly it should have been an easy game for everyone to look good because Slavia came out to play and didn't just sit back. There were plenty of spaces.

Radio just said that Barca’s top scorer this season is Messi with 19 , second place Owen Goal with 7 , third place Dembele on 4 .

Pretty irrelevant how many goals a guy scored in 2015 when it comes to substitution tactics of a game played last night. Suarez is Barca's top scorer this season. Plus there are fewer options for him on the bench compared to AG's position.

That must be over the past 3 seasons in CL.

It's very relevant and one can say he's getting to play in his preferred position more than AG. Who knows if AG had gotten the chance instead of been played out of positions how many goals he would have scored. Don't get me wrong I'm a big fan of Donkey but he's a very poor finisher at times and wastes many many clear chances. I guess age does take its toll. Why even buy AG and play him out of position? This happens so often with EV. Just wait and see when Barca are knocked out in same way as past two seasons. Nothing is improved. It's the momentarily brilliance of some players and MATS who kept Barça in contention with a huge about of pure luck.

Suarez, at Barca at least, always missed easy chances. That's how he started, that's how it's been the whole time. But he used to get more chances throughout the game. Specially when Neymar was around. His finishing hasn't changed much IMO.
