Last I recall you were the one abusing the report button working to get us banned on our own damn forums. You pissed and moaned well enough that it worked. But enough of that, we can continue it in our rivalry thread if you wish.

Benfica >>>>>>>> Porto + Ponta Delgada

Best of luck to our Benfica friends, we will shun any Bayern trolls that come your way!

Chill with the anti Ponta Delgada rhetoric. The poster might be annoying but fabulous city

BM showed some defensive weaknesses in their home win in the last round. However our defence is young and unexperienced plus half of the mature part is Eliseu.

I would take a 2-1 defeat but if we lose it can't be more than 3-1 and even then that would maybe give us a +- 5% chance (at 3-1).

    Hoping for a 2-2, realistically a 1-4 away win :D.

We were very sloppy today and gotta give you guys props for not giving up after the first goal. Defended very well throughout the whole game not gonna lie was nervous at times. Best of luck in the second legg lads!

All's to play for in the second game at home.

Jonas should have had a goal there in the second half. Ugh.

Great games by Lindelof and Jardel.

    Thanks.

You guys played with a lower level of intensity but even so carved out some chances.

Hopefully Andre Almeida doesn't play again because you guys were focusing on him all match!

Jonas missed a couple sitters he usually buries..Lahm's handball in the box should have been called because those always seem to result in pks.

Gaitan's shot at the end of the 1st half was blocked as well..that was labeled bottom corner.

Nelson Semedo needs to play instead of Andre Almeida, and with Jonas suspended I'm interested to see who slots in. Salvio is nowhere near fully recovered from his injury, and Jimenez isn't good enough to start...possibly Samaris to solidify midfield? Or Talisca playing behind Mitroglou?

Andre Almeida got the brunt of the attacks down his side but Semedo runs to far up even in big CL games I inho do not think Semedo would be better defensive and that was what Benfica had been trying to accomplish

I say advantage Benfica as the Estadio da luz is hard on any night let alone a CL qf

Bayern played badly unfortunately we did not play well, if we did we would of got a draw and at our best a win away against the Bayern that played today.

The reason Porto lost the 2nd leg was due to yellow card suspension to both fullbacks

    Danilo and Alex sandro

In my opinion i think Pep should have brought on Mario earlier tbh, i don't think I've ever seen Thiago play a worse game it was sad. Lahm messed up so many times this game :( He's almost forgot what it's like to play RB at times and getting sloppy.

Jonas out for the next game is a blow, Eliseu kept Costa pressured very well the entire game. Lewa and Muller were quiet until the late second half. Lewa forgot how to shoot lol.

I know you guys won't make it any easier in your home stadium and we all know the atmosphere is gonna be in your favor most of the game. It will be a battle no doubt, may the best Reds win!

I just watched the game for a 2nd time. Man...i think NERVES led to that Bayern Munich goal, that goal may have been prevented if that chance happened later into the game because we calmed the heck down by then. Who knows, maybe we needed that goal scored on us to smarten up because organization was nearly magnificent after that. Bayern's attack was stagnant after minute 20, it didn't spark up again until shortly after the half and then it died down yet again. We could have made them pay on the counter if a few passes were on point and after watching that no call again, it pisses me off even more.
