My youngest son Avery turns 4 today, and my older son Zachary turns 9 on Dec 31 (also Sir Alex's birthday). Behold, your Stat of the Day.

Can anyone comment on this match? i have not seen it. There's a reason Sir Alex Ferguson is the greatest. He beat this AC Milan team 7-2 on aggregate with this Manchester United team. 👏😳 pic.twitter.com/E5pbygfekm— Football Tweet ⚽ (@Football__Tweet) January 7, 2018
A decent victory in the CL vs a solid AC Milan team, but nowhere near as good as they've been just not too long before. Teams who repeatedly did the business vs United in Europe. Certainly not, for me at least, one of United and SAF's most memorable European victories.
Great names in that Milan team but really the likes of Becks/Ronaldinho/Nesta were nearing the end of their careers at that stage. Our match thread: https://www.bigsoccer.com/threads/ma...ampions-league-round-of-16-2nd-leg-r.1355243/

The Feud: Ferguson vs Wenger Got goosebumps watching this. I understand that historically and geographically Pool and City are our biggest rivals, but Arsenal are it to me. And tbh, I miss those days when we'd get to see each team just go at it the way they did. Nasty and epic at the same time.
Loved hearing that team talk (prior to a game vs them surely) was littered with "********ing" every other word. Talk about intensity right there.
Said on BT Sport had brain haemorrhage and has had emergency op If any guy has earned a long and healthy retirement ....
Thoughts and prayers for Sir Alex, who has been rushed to the hospital and will operated on today, according to Skysports.
