Danish Superliga transfers so far :

    Martin Vingaard to FC København

Danish superliga side FC København have signed a 3½-year contract with 23-yo Esbjerg Star midfielder Martin Vingaard. who so far has won 5 caps and scored 1 goal for Denmark. The transfer fee has not been disclosed, but is said to be just around €1 million.
    ---

Huge blow for Esbjerg, who are also losing Niki Zimling to Udinese Calcio...

FC København have also signed a 5-year deal with the goalkeeper Johan Wiland from Swedish side Elfsborg.... The transfer fee is said to be €1.1 million.

    Jones Kusi-Asare to Esbjerg

Danish Superliga side Esbjerg have signed a 3-year contract with the experienced 28-yo Swedish/Ghanaian forward Jones Kusi-Asare who has been playing for Swedish top-flight side Djurgårdens IF the past 4 seasons.

    Michael Parkhurst to FC Nordsjælland

Danish Superliga side FC Nordsjælland have signed a 3-year contract with the 24-yo American centre back Michael Parkhurst who has been playing for MLS side side New England Revolution the past 4 years. Parkhurst has so far won 4 cap for the United States. He won the MLS Defender of the Year Award in 2007, the MLS Fair Play Award in 2007 and 2008 and was also twice named the MLS Humanitarian of the Year in 2006 and 2008. Parkhurst move to FCN as a free agent.

"....., I think, the Danish league is a step forward in comparison with MLS and the more I heard of FCN, the more interested I got. When I went to Denmark to look at the facilities and talk to the coaching staff, I was so impressed by it all, that the choice was easy for me", said Michael Parkhurst about his decision.

FC Nordsjælland have also signed a 3-year contract with the young Danish U21 NT forward Nicki Bille Nielsen... and a 2½-year deal with 32-yo midfielder Nicolai Stokholm from Norwegian side Viking Stavanger.

    Christian Bolaños to IK Start

Danish Superliga side OB Odense have sold the 24-yo Costa Rican international Christian Bolaños to Norwegian side IK Start. The talented Costa Rican right winger came to Odense in 2007 after his deal with EPL side Charlton Athletic fell through, because he failed to obtain a work permit in England. So instead he signed a deal that made him the most expensive player in the Odense squad at that point in time. Though despite showing glimpse of the great qualities he no doubt possess, he unfortunately never really managed to become a regular starter for OB, so with his big wages in mind, OB probably found that it was time for him to move on... The transfer fee has not been disclosed.

Martin Ericsson from Brøndby to IF Elfsborg

Danish Superliga side Brøndby IF have have sold the 28-yo Swedish midfielder Martin Ericsson to this seasons Swedish Silver medalists IF Elfsborg, Ericsson has won 7 caps for Sweden and played 145 Superliga games for Brøndby and AaB Aalborg since March 2004, but he has not been a regular starter for Brøndby this season. The transfer fee has not been disclosed.

Mark Howard from Brøndby to AGF Aarhus

Danish Superliga side AGF Aarhus have signed the 22-yo English centre back Mark Howard. The former Manchester United youth who has been at Brøndby since the 2006/2007 season and was selected as Brøndby 'player of the year' 2007, has signed a 3½-year contract with league rivals AGF. The transfer fee has not been disclosed.

AGF have also signed a 3½-year contract with the young French right back, Arthur Sorin from the Swedish Champions Kalmar FF.

    Nenad Novaković to FC Nordsjælland

Danish superliga side FC Nordsjælland have signed a 3-year contract with the 26-yo Serbian goalkeeper Nenad Novaković, who join the club on a free transfer from Italian side Reggina Calcio. Novaković moved to Italy in January 2007 from Danish side OB Odense, in perhaps the quickest and most surprising deals ever in the history of the Superliga, since he had just moved from Danish 2nd level side Køge to Odense a month earlier when Reggina then suddenly offered to pay €1.6 million for the talented goalkeeper. Though after only having played a few games in the Italian serie A, Reggina sent him on a loan deal to Norwegian side Aalesunds FK this past season. However, now he is back in Denmark.

Gudlaugur Victor Pálsson sold to Liverpool

Danish Superliga side AGF Aarhus, promoted their Icelandic U18 international Victor Pálsson to the first team squad only a few weeks ago, but now he has signed a 2½-year contract with the English PL side Liverpool. The Icelandic midfielder was picked up by AGF in the summer of 2007 from Icelandic side Fylkir, where he was playing an attacking midfield/support striker role, but Pálsson improved tremendously in Denmark after AGF had changed his position to 'box-to-box' midfielder. Bayern Munich and some unnamed Italian club were reported to be interested in Pálsson and AGF were reported to have turned down the first two offers from Liverpool, but in the end AGF is said to have agreed to a £750k transfer fee (a bit more than $1.1 million) plus more when/if he get to play EPL for Liverpool.

    Andreas Laudrup to FC Nordsjælland

Danish superliga side FC Nordsjælland have signed a 3-year contract with the highly talented Danish U18 international Andreas Laudrup, who is the son of former Danish International and soccer Star Michael Laudrup. When his father became Getafe head coach, it was agreed that Andreas also should moved to Spain to play for the Real Madrid youth academy, so he could be close to his family, but when his parents then moved to Moscow, Andreas found it better to return to Denmark and Lyngby BK, to decide what to do next, despite actually doing more than well at Real Madrid.

Tracy is the winner of the Hermann Trophy, awarded to the top player in college soccer for the given year, and was highly-touted as an early round pick in this year’s MLS SuperDraft and good showings last season also caught the attention of teams in Europe, particularly in Norway and Germany, but the Danish club were able to get his signature.

Ajax winning the race for Nicolai Boilesen ?

Last year Ajax signed the highly talented Danish attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen from OB Odense and now they are hoping to sign the even more highliy rated 17-yo Brøndby centre/left back Nicolai Boilesen who is visiting Amsterdam today, most likely to sign a contract with Ajax...

"Ajax would like to sign a contract with Nicolai Boilesen. We have seen what he can do on the pitch, so he is only going to Amsterdam to see if he would like to sign a contract with the club." Ajax’ scout, John Steen Olsen, told the Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet.

The young Danish U17 NT captain is said to be more impressive than Daniel Agger was when he was 17. So ther has been great interest in the young defender who has been on trial at Manchester United, Chelsea, Monaco and Rennes.

Silly season starting up again in Sweden in June due to the month long break during the U21 Euros.

Any new transfers you know of or heard rumors about?

Wernbloom is the big name to go so far, but I'm mostly interested in rumors about AIK's Ivan Obolo and Markus Jonsson. They both are likely to make moves.

Chanko is an interesting player. Very good when he´s at his best but can sometimes look a bit lackluster and uninterested. But shure he will be inspired in the new enviorment though. Very technically sound player indeed. Entertaining to see for the Aab-crowd. He has been a big crowd-favourite at Hammarby no doubt. Good scouting by the danes then....

I dont really think this had much to do with scouting, but more to do with Aalborgs new Swedish coach specifically asking the club to sign this player as the replacement for Thomas Augustinussen who was sold (on his own request)..

Ekstra Bladet reported the other day that Trabzonspor is showing some interest in Morten "Duncan" Rasmussen.

    http://ekstrabladet.dk/sport/fodbold/dansk_fodbold/superligaen/broendby/article1181213.ece

Also Kasper Lorentzen has signed for Randers FC on a four year deal, apparently.

Slight apologies for the BIF-centric posting. However, to be a bit honest, there doesn't seem to be a ton of movement out there.

I think we're going to see a lot more "African" transfers to Israeli clubs. Perhaps it's the "new" money from rich investors, but in the end, it should ultimately work out for Israeli clubs.

Well in the case of Dulee Johnson, this African player actually left the Israeli league. One stated reason was that the club's Russo-Canadian billionaire owner Alex Schnaider is growing tired of spending money on foreign players that don't deliver.

While your theory doesn't really apply to the Dulee case, I'm sure it's a good point in general!
