I was having a discussion in the Mexican forum, praising the Brazilian play. I didnt throw out an insults whatsoever and I get an infraction, saying I was trolling. I dont understand?? My posts also get deleted for no reason, is this guy biased or whats the deal? Never have I come accross such absurdity.

I'm new here so I guess I didn't know. Other places I have posted at, I never come accross this. Just ridiculous, I get an infraction for praising the Brazilian play. What a joke of a moderator this guy is, sicethespaceman.

Is there an admin, I can talk to?

I support the mods being very strict with Yanks who come to their forum to post things like - I'm getting used to the US beating Mexico :) and Brazil would be killing Mexico if they brought Ronaldinho, etc.

Try moderating a forum that is inundated with opposing fans after every game. I moderate the US forums and Mexican fans don't show up en masse to post in our forum - we should be respectful and stay out after a victory.

Baptism by fire (to bring in a horrible cliche). I agree with your comments, but Mexico has alot of serious trollers as DK said, and you being a newbie along with your posts disagreeing with the POV of Mexican posters, he felt the need to be protective.

I watched the game, and agree with both points, but I also agree with Sids actions. If you become established there, you will get more slack.

I second that motion! It's common knowledge that you'll be handed an infraction or neg reps by the bucket load, if you make dickish comments like that on the oppositions forum.

Sidspaceman knows the Mexican forum like the back of his hand and therefore; knows how bad things start, so he's strict with little yank and mexican comments that he knows will start the tiniest spark into a big flame.

Stop whining, if you have something negative to say about our team you can say it in your own forum, WR, or even the CONCACAF forum. Acting all innocent and then throwing little comments with double meaning won't get you pass Sid.

Which is why I think Sids is a really good mod. I don't always agree with what he does, but he is very consistant and that is very difficult to achieve.

And this is why sid has to moderate so strictly. The posts in question were a critique/comment on a "what if" senario. What if Brazil had their full team? I thought Mexico played well, but I also think Brazil played poorly. If Brazil brings it's first team, perhaps the result is reversed.

And your sig is not helping matters either.

He also throws out a few baits. Kinda makes me suspicious of his intention to keep a thread "clean".

Mexico would of only won by one goal instead of 2 :D (here or here)

You are crime, and Sidspaceman is the law!

I never get tired of that line.

So quit trolling and then running to customer service like little bitches.

The ppl who "troll" don't come running over to CS for the most part.

And it's a fair critique to say that the mods there need to do their part to keep the locals in check a bit more.

I think the best advice for a newbie that sincerely wishes to contribute to dialogue in a forum that is heavily frequented by shameless trolls (USMNT, Mexico, Yanks Abroad, anything to do w/ the Middle East, etc.) is to read a LOT and read several threads before posting.

Once you see a few examples of quality "enemy" posters who contribute and are respectful, you get the gist and are less likely to run into problems.

Maybe if we didn't have to deal with arseholes all the time we wouldn't have to act in a way that you think is fascist

Thank you for praising Brazil We indeed did DOMINATE Mexico and absolutely THRASH them. And if we had had Ronaldinho Gaúcho it would've been a Brazil win just like in the Confed Cup.

Just to be clear you classify that as "praising Brazilian play" and "having a discussion" in the Mexico forum?
