Chelsea still haven't contacted the CAS to get their transfer ban frozen. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2019/06/11/chelsea-yet-apply-transfer-ban-frozen-cas-confirms/ ??? How odd on their part. Wonder what they're waiting on. Christmas? One would think it's the first thing they would have done this summer, even before finding a replacement for Sarri.
United's fallback option to Wan-Bissaka? https://www.skysports.com/football/...get-max-aarons-if-aaron-wan-bissaka-bid-fails Know nothing about him, but it's interesting to note clubs like Tottenham and RBL have been looking at him. And further proof of the direction Ole and the club are looking to go into (even if I still believe that with Meunier available at a cut rate price, it's stupid to apparently just pass up on him).
HERE. WE. GO. YOUR #FIFAWWC Starting XI ⭐️Lineup Notes: https://t.co/Wwm6AeG0FN pic.twitter.com/7UymLztDCK— U.S. Women's National Soccer Team (@USWNT) June 11, 2019 Like that Lavelle is starting in midfield today (as arguably the most technical and creative CM the US has) and Ertz back in defense in Sauerbrunn's place. She handled the transition very well to DCM but she's terrific also at the back.
I'd agree with that. The back 5 is probably the US's weak area, mainly because of Naeher who is not Solo and Sauerbrunn, who is getting older now and just not the player she used to be. If there was a solid partner to Dahlkemper, she could play in midfield, where she's just as awesome (she scores quite a few goals for a DCM). But I think Ellis has the right idea to bring her back in defense. There is more than enough talent in midfield to compensate for her loss there and I think if they stick with it, it will pay off later against the big teams in the knockout rounds. But her versatility is incredible. Have no doubt she could play as a b2b in midfield, if it was required of her.
PSG now favourites to land Matthijs De Ligt; Mino Raiola is currently in Paris negotiating with Sporting Director Antero Henrique to close the deal - Di Marzio https://t.co/ANWp8JZ6Ii— Get French Football News (@GFFN) June 11, 2019 It's from Di Marzio, so it's worth paying attention to at least. Considering who was in the running knew we were out of the running for him a while back. And once PSG were said to be solid candidates for him, had a feeling they would stand a strong chance to get him (especially with the rumored €15mil/yr salary offer). Another good move obviously for PSG (not so much the player necessarily) who continue making interesting moves. If they can keep hold of Mbappe (more so than Neymar), they just might be able to make some real noise in Europe, even if the lack of competition in Ligue Un will remain an issue for them to deal with. Also... No current contact between PSG & Gianluigi Donnarumma - but Leonardo intends to make a play for the Italian goalkeeper shortly, according to @DiMarzio.— Get French Football News (@GFFN) June 11, 2019 That may be good news for us in regards to Dave (even if I don't think we'd be out of the woods yet - Juve could still a play for him IMO). United still trying to tie him though according to reports.
Why United and City are interested in Maguire. https://www.skysports.com/football/...guire-so-sought-after-by-man-utd-and-man-city The stats rolled out in this article confirms that Maguire, while he's a solid CB, is not really on the level of top, top ones. And certainly not worth a world breaking fee either. We really would be better off looking elsewhere: the options are not bountiful out there, but there are there are still a few nonetheless who remain intriguing.
#5 for Real, as expected (for £47mil). 👉 #WelcomeMendy pic.twitter.com/HdXyDLS4hd— Real Madrid C.F. 🇬🇧🇺🇸 (@realmadriden) June 12, 2019 Sky Italia are claiming that Spurs are close to a deal for Ndombele (although Lyon and Tottenham are said to still be apart valuation wise). Would be a super acquisition for them.
https://www.skysports.com/football/...tanguy-ndombele-talks-with-lyon-over-transfer it will be criminal if they get him unopposed
De Ligt considering PSG's huge offer. https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...-ligt-transfer-psg-offer-considering-options- 340k/wk: that is just insane for a 19yr old, even one as talented as de Ligt. Where do you go from there? I suppose if he takes it (which I'm guessing he probably will as no one will match that kind of offer), he can make his money for the next few years, before going to a club where he will then legitimately challenge for big trophies.
Poor guy, couldn't even afford any socks before his move, so sad .... Luka Jovic has officially been unveiled as a @realmadrid player and he couldn't look happier... ✍️#RealMadrid pic.twitter.com/hjeN6H3lIL— ITV Football (@itvfootball) June 12, 2019

Lyon reject €45m + bonuses bid from Tottenham for Tanguy Ndombele, according to @DiMarzio. More follows.— Get French Football News (@GFFN) June 12, 2019 Lyon's asking price for him is said to be €75mil. Levy vs Aulas: the negotiations between 2 notoriously tough guys to deal with, ought to be pretty interesting. If we had a guy who was decisive and doesn't mess around, we could get in and highjack that deal right under from under Spurs' nose.
What do you know about this source? Man United are in discussions with Lyon for Tanguy Ndombele. Juventus and Tottenham are also in talks. (Telefoot) pic.twitter.com/CDPI7DKYvD— EPL Bible (@EPLBible) June 13, 2019
Telefoot is a very reputed French tv program, so there could be something to this. Also, knowing how Aulas likes to negotiate, it could make sense also. He likes to encourage clubs competing for one of his players, as to create a bidding process which could increase their price. 1139088165166362624 is not a valid tweet id It's coming from Julien Maynard, so it's definitely worth listening to.
Confirmation of yesterday's reports that we no longer are in for Bale. https://www.skysports.com/football/...no-longer-a-manchester-united-transfer-target Great news: let's just hope that it's not because we are in for Griezmann now and that he remains on course for Barca.
Our name is constantly thrown around to put pressure on other clubs. That said I don’t see Spurs paying what Lyon are seeking. Who knows if we’re really in for him but a midfield of Pogba, Bruno, and Ndombele is very appealing.
Slaven Bilic is back in England, where he will become West Brom's next manager. https://www.skysports.com/football/...pointed-west-brom-head-coach-on-two-year-deal
@Diable Rouge actually lives or lived in France and can likely verify or add extra info about the source
PSG have agreed to sell 19-year-old winger Moussa Diaby to Bayer Leverkusen for €15m + a 20% sell-on fee percentage. Player expected in Germany tomorrow to sign a 5-year contract.— Mohamed Bouhafsi (@mohamedbouhafsi) June 13, 2019 Pretty impressive at the U20 WC for France. Looks to be a pretty good and promising pick up for Leverkusen and we can expect to hear from him in the coming years (being in a good place to develop as a young player in the Buli). 15mil is a good deal for a player with his potential. Speaking of PSG, Leonardo has officially been introduced as their new DoF, replacing Antero Enrique. Tim Weah is another young player of theirs that looks to be in the move: he's reportedly close to signing with Lilles.
