Konrad De la Fuente doing well at La Masia. https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...-la-fuente-barcelona-usmnt-under-20-world-cup Very much looking forward to see him and the rest of the US in the upcoming U20 World Cup.
Predictably, City are pretty quick to squash any talk about Pep leaving. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/48387820 Both parties have a great thing going really and despite Juve being a job that could attract Pep at some point, it would be stupid for him to leave right now. Don't like saying it, but City arguably might just be the best job in football right now for a coach...

Opening bid, no doubt, but Bayern thinking that an €80mil bid will be enough for Sane, kind of sounds hopeful. Not just that City will not want to sell, but in this market, that's a low figure for a player of his quality.
Very much against the run of play, Ukraine have opened the score vs the US. Need to shake it off and get back to it, as they definitely have had the better of the play so far. Perfect (and quick) response: US (Servania) levels the score as a result of a very nice move.
Ukraine take back the lead off a corner. Defense went to sleep there. Imagine that a loss would not be the end of all hopes, in regards of getting out of the group, but the US really dare not lose this game today. Especially in light of how tough Nigeria appear to be. The change is welcome, with the US's intensity having gone down significantly this period.
FT: 2-1, Ukraine. Not the start they were looking for and should have got at least a or out of this. Next game vs Nigeria, clearly, will be very important. Disappointing result today though...
In other news, Everton apparently have slapped a £100mil price tag on Richarlison. Presume it's to keep interested parties off his scent because he's not worth that much in my estimation. That valuation would be about right for Sane for instance, if City were to sell him.
Disappointing result for the US, but some promising build up play. Pomykal looks like he's ready for the next step in his development once he finishes this season with Dallas.
Where things currently stand with Hazard's proposed move to Real. https://www.skysports.com/football/...transfer-talk-discuss-chelsea-forwards-future Chelsea wanting £130mil for a player about to enter the final year of his contract (and reportedly having made his position clear also) surely is a starting point for negotiations. Getting a full 100mil, given the circumstances, would be a bargain well struck for them.
Portugal (with Dalot playing the full 90, putting in a solid performance in the process) have won their opening game at the U20 WC over S. Korea. A good start for them and as usual they have some players worth keeping an eye on.
Ajax are totally relaxed about De Ligt situation. Have left it up to the player to decide where he wants to go but #mufc are very much still in the race and he is tempted for sure. Would be a fantastic signing but I suspect it will rumble on. Barca won’t give up either.— Luke Edwards (@LukeEdwardsTele) May 25, 2019 Since Ajax have pretty much settled on a fee, whether it's with United, Barca (or whoever), it's all in de Ligt's hands now.. Guessing that United doing their best to make the deal happen will light a fire under Barca's ass. Or it won't and he's probably ours then. Don't expect this to be concluded in the coming days as noted above, but guessing it won't be too long either before we get his final decision, one way or the other...
United rule out a move for de Ligt? https://www.skysports.com/football/...e-out-move-for-ajax-defender-matthijs-de-ligt
Yeah I saw that tweet. The sold Puli bought two players and still have some money left over. Who is their DoF?
You know they surely must have started working on replacements as soon as the Pulisic deal was concluded back in January. They may not be a top, destination club but the bottom line is that they're organized, have a plan and they see it thru to the best of their abilities. That's been their MO for years and that's why their way of doing business works for them. Not all clubs in the same position as them are nearly anywhere as successful as they've consistently been in recent years. They're obviously doing something right, with the correct guys at the helm. How many managers have they gone thru in the past 7yrs or so (lost some major players along the way as well), yet they keep on ticking along nicely for the most part.
Kante looks set to miss the EL final. https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...opa-league-final-knee-injury-arsenal-training A huge blow for Chelsea, but in a way, hard not to see the irony of karma at work, after what happened with him being dislodged of his best position and all for Jorge, who proved to be nowhere near as good as Kante would have been in the holding role...

Sancho is not on the market and will be a Dortmund player next season - Watzke https://www.manchestereveningnews.c...ws/man-united-sancho-transfer-latest-16333397 No real surprise there unfortunately. Next summer will probably see him move, having probably increased his value even more this coming season.
Fwiw, this is from today at Holland's training camp ahead of the Nations League games. De Ligt claims he still hasn't made a decision on his future. It appears like he will not be doing so until after he's done with international duty. https://www.yooying.com/p/2052342227381557338_1127617482
