Should the league cup be scrapped?

    What's the point? If you want an opportunity for youth players, why not have B teams play in the second of third division? The league cup just seems like a waste of time as winning it doesn't mean much and it causes fixture congestion. What do you think?

    I'd get rid of it. But I would also have a 16 team league so maybe I'd keep it... :) I'd also have summer football.

    It's an extra chance for little clubs to win a trophy, which I think is important for a setup like Scotland, where Celtic and Rangers win every league title.

    It's a historic tournament, it means something to supporters. Aberdeen had tens of thousands of people in their parade two years ago.
