If he loses to Bolivia I think he should bounce. Bielsa would whip us into shape. That guy does not f-around. We need someone who is not our buddy, not our papa, someone who will get us disciplined. To reek havoc everytime we hit that beautiful pitch. 'Tis a man's sport, let's start acting like it. The good news we have the players. You know it. I know it. Everybody knows it ;)

Bolivia game is too late for me it's now or never. New coach has a few months. Point is moot they already said they are keeping him. Losing to Bolivia ends our WC chances. We need 6 out of 6 next 2 games

As for Pepe no friendlies. Other coaches had non FIFA days with none Euro players. Osorio wanted one against Mexico but we didn't agree.

It just feels like he isn't putting his work in. For those going who should he call up when we lost Mina and Murillo. He is the coach that's his fking job. Who else in the league is good?

Reason people wanted him was Macherano debuted with Argentina before River. Where is that on our NT. Feels he doesn't even scout the league. Lazy call ups where the call up shocker is let's bring back some dude from 2+ years ago.

We have the roster to be better then what we are. It's his job to make it work.

The only time he should have been fired if he was to get fired would've been after Copa America 2014. It's too late now.

This. Need to take advantage of the calendar coming up and brush off the fact we just went through a tough patch of fixtures.

Pekerman has done something amazing for this team. Mind you, he has worked with different players every year and come 2018, it won't be any different. But right now he's the best option that we have.

Yes that's what I was referring to. Have family in Quito and from what I could see (on whatsapp videochats and stuff) it looked intense. People unable to leave homes to get groceries, stuff getting lit everywhere, tv networks out so info passing word of mouth.

I know Moreno conceded to the protests and it seems some order is returning... But my sense is that isn't the most stable environment for a 70 year old coach to pick to move into.

Wonder how much he is getting paid. That’s the only thing that matters me. To see how bad our federation negotiates.

especially since he wanted 3 million to continue with us

in all honesty all the things I disliked about Pekerman. The new coach does the same shit. Maybe it’s the fed that is cheap.

neither doing anything with the youth teams/players and don’t call up enough players or Scout the league

Hurts seeing him sign for a team that is not Colombia tbh. And we are stuck with Rueda that can't make this team work with the killer players we have. Imagine Pekerman leaving us without a ticket to Qatar in the last game against Venezuela. Rip

I just hope the games where we sadly dropped points don’t come back to haunt us.

It’s wild how close positions 4-9 are.
Paraguay in 9th place can reasonably get 9 points from Uruguay, Ecuador and Peru.

There's always that chance. But in the end it will be a poor excuse as we shouldn't be in a situation where a match against Venezuela in their home should decide if we go to the world cup or not.
