The Chicago Fire are drawing embarrassing crowds, and they need a rebrand. So what should it be? I like the historic name Chicago Sting. Retro is cool.
How is a rebrand going to draw bigger crowds? The problem isnt their brand, the problem is they are a soccer team in a part of the country where football and baseball is king. As a Crew fan, I feel their pain.
It won't and the problem our non caring owner. So if this happens I believe he won't be moving with the team. So I hope they don't change the name.
Why should the Fire rebrand with the name of a less popular team? (h/t: an obscure internet site known as "Wikipedia.") But thanks for blessing us with another world-famous DaveBrett Shitpost. P.S. Those awesome numbers? They were achieved in Rockford, Champaign, and Gary... Nah, just kidding. They were at Soldier Field, Wrigley Field, and Comiskey Park.
Its a big city so its gotta be The Chicago Football Club or something of that nature. It might be trendy and you might not like it but it is what it is.
Nothing wrong with the name Chicago Fire, the only that's been wrong is our non-caring owner for the last 11+ years.
But it's a TV show. It'd be like Family Ties FC or Married With Children City. You just can't do that
First our name came first and second how long do you think the TV show is going to last? The name isn't the problem.
