Well deserved honor. I said it form the beginning, Shiny was the steal of the draft. He is proof there is still some talent to found in the collegiate game. Of course it helps he was in the Rapids backyard. I love Shiny's game. I love his attitude. I love his ability to produce when it matters. I expect an expanded role Shiny next season and I expect him to step it up a notch.
Was never in doubt. The award typically goes to attackers and Dotson/Aaronson hadn't done as much from midfield to justify taking it away from Andre. Very much deserved and hope he stays in burgundy for years to come.

I was skeptical about Shin, as most guys that score goals in college aren't complete enough as players to score goals in MLS, but he has proven me wrong (which I'm fine with). Still looks like there's upside with him. Will be interesting where he plays going forward - lead striker, 2nd striker/#10-ish, wing?
