eh u never know with us. we play crap teams like crap and good teams like crap...er or something like that...
it's megson. not everyone seems excited about the decision, but i rather like it. i've heard the selection described as 'unimaginitive', but a club like wednesday - decent talent ... sound finances ... able to draw 20-25k every other week - in the third tier isn't crying out for imagination. they just need the kind of solidity and stability that megs should provide. if the effects come quickly, the playoffs aren't out of the question. and if they don't, milan will give him the new player, or three, that he needs over the summer, and wednesday should be strong for '11-'12.
irvine just brought in 5 players in january, which couldn't have been cheap. our wage bill must be quite high and i would think unsustainable if we don't go up.
I was wondering that same thing, how deep are our pockets now? I like the Megson choice also pook. I do feel bad for Irvine, it was all uphill, taking over a team that was relegation bound and then the administration scandal... Good luck sir. UTO!!
