Only because it's possibly a final chance to see the US here--and the opponent is pretty good. But Mar 1 could be pretty cold. One reason I gave up in football in November a number of years back is because of that (and no, I was at our playoff games and would have been at the Cup final had we made it).
Anyone think there can be re-entry between France - England and the US match? Tickets are good for both.

Well.... The surprise is two of the locations. NYC and Columbus--at this time of the year. You'd think other cities would be better, weather wise.
In case anyone is curious; buying group tickets worked out alright. I was a bit worried that it said I'd hear back in 7-10 days AND that I couldn't pick an alternate price range as when I went to Ticketmaster endline seats were few and far between left as of ~11:00 this morning. But I got an email early this afternoon telling me my actual seats and I got the section I requested (134).
Bump/necropost. Went down to Mapfre during lunchtime to get tix to She Believes Cup (to avoid the TicketBastard fees). (And to get tix to Crewsmas—I’m not a STH[emoji20]). I figured this might be the last time the USNT plays at Mapfre—or in Columbus period. And it might be the last Crewsmas ever. First off, the dude at the gate *wanded* me! WTF? It’s lunchtime on a weekday; I’m one guy; the only people there are employees—no crowd of thousands. Seemed a bit over the top. I asked one of the guys employees how everyone is handling the uncertainty. He said it’s been hard; they don’t know if they’ll be out of a job. Simply being there today was really unsettling for me. I’ve been there countless times since ‘99, and the reality of the situation really hit me hard. One thing really angered me. On the south end of he stadium there are two banners. The west end had one that said “charter member 01” and the logo. The east end had one saying “since 1996 “ and the Ohio flag in black and gold. I figure these banners are not Prec**t’s doing, but more likely Laugh-lame’s. How dare he use the founding history of the club as a marketing ploy when he’s drunk the Kool-aid about the move?!? So, our history is important enough to “honor” and market, but is meaningless—we’re moving because metrics. I know this reaction was subjective. But WTF?!?
Anyone know if they have practices open to the public? My daughter really wants to go and I can't find anything from US Soccer. Last time they were in town they had one at the stadium. I guess they posted some video on social media that looked like Obetz, yesterday, but I'm not sure.
I know our groundskeepers are pretty good, but is the field even going to be playable tonight? And will anyone show up if the weather continues like this?
We have "Lake CAS" again in front of my employer--and the Olentangy is getting pretty high (I can see it from my office window). Last weekend there was water running across the road on Sunbury just north of the CESA fields. I can just barely make out the stadium lights from here.
Props to you folks that were in attendance. Those were some crappy game conditions. Special props to those involved in the savethecrew chants. They came through the broadcast load and clear. It got Ian Darke talking about it.
