Tough loss for LASK Linz today at Liefering. They're now in 3rd place, four points behind Liefering and Mattersburg with 11 games to play. Barry is still a regular starter at CB.

Barry spent five years in Austria. His first year, LASK were relegated from the Bundesliga and Barry was mostly with the reserves. Second year, he split time between the reserves and the first team; LASK were relegated again. Third year he played sparingly (six starts, then nothing - injured?). Fourth year he became a regular starter in the third-tier regional league. Fifth year he was a regular starter back in the second division; LASK were promotion contenders but missed out.

As DMN mentioned, FSV Frankfurt is a big step up.

That link could be flagged as NSFW. Not for all the skin Barry flashes to show all his tats. At least for me, an ad popped up on the side for a video game called "Big Bang Empire". Let's just say it's not a cosmos creation sim.

Barry was an unused sub as FSV Frankfurt started their 2. Bundesliga campaign with a 1-0 home loss to Red Bull Leipzig.

He made 32 starts and scored 2 goals in the Austrian 1. Liga last year. He also made 3 starts and was sent off in the Austrian Cup.

Seems like mostly boilerplate in this interview, but here's a story on Barry:

Tomas Oral highlighted his versatility when he joined FSV Frankfurt, that is something he feels can give him a better chance of getting some regular minutes, "It’s a good thing to have because I've played nearly every position on the field. From every position in the defence to right midfield and when I was younger, I used to play as a forward. So when he [Oral] needs me, I’ll play, no matter where. I’ll just do my job, wherever I can."

Sincere question here but why does every thread title have to be some play on words?

Terrific volley. Looked a little banged up when he was substituted off.
