🇬🇩🇬🇩🇬🇩🆙 13 #FIFARanking places 📈🔝 Perfect in @CNationsLeague 🅱️Former @MLS All-Star Shalrie Joseph is now at the helm for a resurgent Grenada battling for a @GoldCup spot 🏆(📸: @GrenadaFootball)— FIFA (@FIFAcom) October 3, 2019 “The first couple of games hit me like a punch to the face in terms of what it takes to win and prepare at this level,” the five-time MLS All-Star admitted, after conceding 15 goals to Jamaica and Curacao in a baptism of fire just over a year ago. Those victories took the Spice Boys to four consecutive wins, a feat they’ve never managed before – an impressive achievement for Joseph’s first senior international role. Having also earned both 2-1 triumphs in the closing stages, there’s a feel-good factor within the Caribbean island’s soccer ranks.
Awesome news, thanks for sharing. Loved Sharlie as a player, think he'd make a great manager as well. Tough task but must be a lot of fun too
Shalrie Joseph is going back to the Gold Cup. The former NE Revs man has coached Grenada to a first-place finish in their Concacaf Nations League group and a spot in the 2021 Gold Cup, plus promotion to League A.— Arch Bell (@ArchBell) November 15, 2019
No longer with Grenada NT: https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2020...d-revolution-reunion-grenada-and-mls-memories Shalrie Joseph: I’m no longer the coach. We were talking about renegotiating and setting up a new contract but … we just couldn't come to terms. I didn't get what I wanted on my initial offer and they took too long to make offers that I thought were insufficient offers. We weren’t really in the same ballpark. So I walked away from the job and I came back to America to live.
