Hopefully we use the same line-up as today but put Guillermo Ochoa as goalie instead.

I don't know about that. He's really good and Ayala and Milito haven't looked that solid so far.

It's gonna be a good game.

Should be a great one, shame that it can't be the final.. fkn CONMEBOL. One thing I've noticed in these past few Mexico-Argentina games is that Heinze always seems to struggle. Heres hoping its another one of those games :D.

    Good Luck.

I think it's safe to say that all footy fans will tune in for this one. Let's just hope that the game is as good as the WC game...with a different ending.

Should be a hell of a game

Always enjoy watching Mexico Vs. Argentina play. The game will be intense
all game long. No doubt about it. Just want to see a good game this Wednesday

Hopefully Mexico will take something back and get revenge after the WC .
Will be very tough though against the Argentinian side.

Tough bottom line questions. It is hard to tell when both teams have so much talent. Overall, I think Mexico just shades it in the midfield, but Argentina clearly has a better strike force. Mexico has very capable forwards but Argentina just has more of them.

I think the match will hinge on the defence. Who will make the 1st mistake. I also think possession is a big factor since both of these teams like to attack and you can't attack if you don't have the ball.

I think its going to be like watching a boxing match where both guys are throwing over a hundred punches each round and neither boxer gets tired.

toooo much hype for this game..
the wc game wasnt exciting..it was rough.
mexico doesnt play offensive with argentina.
in wc they scored on a set play.
in copa america 04' morales scored on a free kick.
    c'mon.

    both teams are playing well.
i hope mexico plays to win...caus when they score on ne big team they go all out defense..[[boring soccer]]..and if mexico lose..no excuses.

just remember that ignorant remark by hugo- "well look,we beat the best team in the tournament" -hugo nomanchez

[[brazil]] faaaaaaaaar from good..[[robinho is brazil]]

My big question is what player Marquez hacks to earn his forthcoming red card. Really though Castillo has been very impressive infact awesome to be truthful. I think the way both teams are playing make for a fairly even match up. So long as we don't get burned early on the counter attack we should be able to control the pace of this game as we really do have the better midfield. Defensively we do have some question marks in my eyes but as a group we still have the experience and skill over Mexicos back line. The question is can Mexico contain Messi, Roman and Tevez? How will Mexico cope with Mashcerano destroying everything that comes into midfield? Good luck Mexico pero vamos Argentinan y vamos Romy!

Well for my Brazil's sake I'd rather face Mexico than Argentina in the Final!! For Mexico, Bravo and Castillo should both start as well as Ochoa in goal rather than Sanchez!!

And for Argentina Tevez has and is much more effective than D.Milito and should start over him!!

The blowouts are over it's time for grit and grime and usually there's an upset at every tournament and this one will be no exception Mexico will win 2-1!!

Couldn't agree with you any more, not sure what this coach is thinking. Tevez needs to start, they are a lot more dangerous with him in there. Also, Veron's better days are clearly behind him. Think he needs to be on the bench, not starting.

I really want some drama and great play - by both teams!

First, the third round group matches were uniformly horrible. Now, a series of blowouts in the quarter finals.

I really hope Mexico-Argentina is as good as I think it will be.
