Well, the weather is not easing, the players are not back, the half an hour delay has come and gone. Unclear at this point if they are coming out soon, much later, or even not finishing today. What happens if they cancel? Play another half of the match tomorrow I suppose?

Actually it would benefit Colombia more, Bacca could be more fit for tomorrow, thats why he didnt start today

Is there any chance the whole match would be cancelled and replayed starting at 0-0. Need to get the rule book out.

Pekerman chose a defensive midfield (Sanchez and Torres) like was played vs Peru and CR as opposed to a holding MF with an offensive link up (Seba Perez). Therefore there is no one to make the transition easier from defense to attacking midfield...Think of how Vidal connects those two. Doesn't help when we have Fabra also playing so piss poor defensively leaving a huge hole.

Pitch is saturated by now I'd guess. To the point where passes stop half way to their target. It's funny watching matches in those conditions. Some players can't adjust and are constantly hitting their passes short. You have to chip them or hit them a lot harder. Can get a bit farcical. Short passing game, doesn't work, you have to play direct ball, crosses.

So I read that as saying either we get the safety go ahead within a hour or so or they make a decision to cancel.

I cannot think of much precedent. Maybe it's because I'm used to watching matches in relatively benign European conditions but I cannot think of a major match that was cancelled mid way through or had such a major delay.

currently on FS1 replay of the Argentina - US rout...classy folks.

So to you TiVo geeks and non-ambien geeks, will your DVR record the Copa Centenario beyond the original scheduled time. I know one can extend it :30 minutes or so but if this plays at 12am and I'm out will by DVR still recognize that recording?
