For Euro team of Sep 85, seems good candidates (considering stricter ratings in Serie-A): Junior Passarella Rummenigge
I will keep an eye on how ratings progress for the remainder of 1985 with Guerin Sportivo, but I am still thinking the end of 84/85 won't have been highly rated enough to make the overall ratings notably high for the likes of Platini, Laudrup and Rummenigge (possibly not above Scirea's 1982 average, but anyway not near Krol/Falcao from 1981 or what Maradona's will be for 1985 surely). Junior maybe though, and I'll do a manual scan of the grades for Platini in 1984 calendar year to see if they might be worth calculating an average for. There do seem some significant differences in opinion at times between Guerin Sportivo and Gazetta Dello Sport (such as the opening game of 84/85 re: Platini, but also a few times like at the start of 85/86 Franco Baresi being pretty highly rated by GS and lowly rated by GDS). Making a start for Maradona (1985) by listing his GS grades from 84/85 (January to end of season) Udinese (home) 7 Fiorentina (away) 9 Verona (home) 7.5 Sampdoria (away) 7.5 Torino (home) 6 Como (away) 7 Lazio (home) 9 Milan (away) 8 Atalanta (home) 7 Avellino (away) 6.5 Ascoli (home) 7 Cremonese (away) 7.5 Inter (home) 8 Roma (away) 8 Juventus (home) 6 Udinese (away) 7.5 Fiorentina (home) 7
