I'd place a bet on it happening in October/November, but because he just earned a runout with the first team, not because of his U20 WC performance.

Good chance he may get some preseason time with the 1st team in Florida in January:

I asked he Sergino would be at the Florida Cup and was met with a pretty resounding no. Looks like he still has a ways to go.

when I asked Sergino at the U-20 CONCACAF Championships whether he thought he was close to the first team, he said he felt he had a lot to work on first. He said "I still have a ways to go."

Sometimes you don't know if that is just an athlete being humble or not. But he's a great interview - very honest, open, and funny. He's not afraid to give insight.

He also said, honestly, that he really struggled in the heat when he first got to Florida and was not used to it at all. Thankfully for him it cooled down a little bit.

But as his career goes on, it will be something to watch when (assuming he makes the USMNT) it has to play in really hot places.

Im sure Berhalter can find a way to "disorganize" the Heat, so Dest can Break the enemy lines. Were good.

I've heard that language from like 4 different high level coaches in the past month or so and I've got to wonder if the Pro level USSF coaching license is just a vocabulary course.

Soccerway is saying Dest picked up the assist for the 2nd goal. Ajax now 2-0 up on the league leaders with under 15 minutes remaining.

Yes, he passed it to his winger who cut inside and scored.

Piscek didn’t look great for Dortmund today, so screw it, Dest to BVB in the summer!

Totally agree with you. He should at least be a backup for us as a RB or RW.

Right....and it’s not like we haven’t had a Dutch 2nd Division player (Novakovich) and German 4th Division player (Sargent) capped in the past year. With young players.....If you’re good enough, you’re good enough irrespective of the league you play.

He plays bigger than his physical attributes. Very smooth player. I thought he is already more technically sound than Yedlin.

Dude is sick. FWIW(and it's not worth much)...I think both him and Sargent are the real deal. I'm probably going to get flamed for this but Dest reminds me a bit of Sancho. I'd be shocked if he isn't starting for us in a year.

He is more technically sound than any our player except for Pulisic.
