I’ve heard nothing but good things about him lately, but haven’t had a chance to see him get extended run. Would love an every touch video of his recent performances
Starts in UEFA Youth League: Om 14.00 uur speelt Ajax Onder 19 tegen AEK Athene in de Youth League. De opstelling van Ajax: El Maach; Dest, J. Timber, Botman, Douglas; Jensen, Q. Timber, Taylor; Kühn, Hansen, Nunnely. #aekaja— Ajax Showtime (@Ajaxshowtimecom) November 27, 2018
Dest subbed out after a 6-0 demolition with 20 minutes still to play. Ajax usually gets their UYL highlights out same day so expect a video to come later.
Like clockwork (oranje): #2 is busy, worth watching the whole thing. He's turning into one of my favorite youth players.
Ajax is now almost assuredly through to the Round of 16 in the UEFA Youth League. Only a loss by 7 goals would exclude them.
Sergino will be with Jong Ajax today against FC Twente. Full stadium, 30,000 people expected. Will be a good chance to see him. Believe he’ll be starting.
Carel Eiting = back! 🔥#JongAjax: Kotarski; Dest, Schuurs, Botman, Bakker; Gravenberch, Ekkelenkamp, Eiting; Cerny, Pereira, Lang. #twejaj— AFC Ajax (@AFCAjax) November 30, 2018 38. Doelpunt #JongAjax! Sergino Dest is het eindstation van een fraaie aanval: 1-2! 🔥#twejaj— AFC Ajax (@AFCAjax) November 30, 2018
The American dream of Dest... 😉🇺🇸🏆 Winner @Concacaf ✔️ First professional goal#twejaj pic.twitter.com/vIC2siBuba— AFC Ajax (@AFCAjax) November 30, 2018
Yup. This ain't academy. This is a game against FC Twente's first team in the Dutch 2nd division (same league that Novakovich was in last year)! Jong Ajax won it 5-2!!! FC Twente, former home of Gooch Onyewu.
Absolutely dominant. Twente would have been much better just forgetting that they had left wing. Can Yedlin play on the left?
Is Dest the best dribbler in our pool? I kinda think so, you can say Pulisic but... idk Dest looks to have more moves
I suspect Dest will be better on the left than Yedlin, but watching Dest makes me think for the US he will play right wing with Yedlin behind.
With Jong Ajax again this week. Don't want to say he's been permanently promoted, but it's getting closer and closer to that...
I think at this age, he is already a better dribbler than Yedlin. I was impressed when he was able to handle Diego Lainez (MX) all by himself.
