Nova deserves another shot for sure. Playing on one of the worst teams and becoming consistent since his long lay off from injury

With our current striker pool, even though he's subpar (IMO), he does deserve another shot. If Wright, Weah & Sargent continue riding pine, this guy (for all his many limitations, and you'll see them in time) may well be Jozy's replacement.

In that case, I ask you for permission to hold my girlfriend's hand.

so he's up to 7 goals and 2assists in 22 league matches.

I’d wait until some credible media outlet and/or journalist spews news about Feyenoord. On the surface it makes since with the new management and some rumored player exists. But......I have to have it from good authority before my excitement level kicks in.

He'll shoot right past Jozy to the top of the pool with that move. If he plays, of course.

I take it, he'd replace the big Danish striker they have?

Only reading can allow such a transfer. Seems like BS.

I hope he moves to a good Eredivisie team like Feynoord, but Reading, not Fortuna, have to sign off on that loan/transfer.

Reading's top goalscorer has 7 goals, 1 assist in 30 matches. Compared to Nova's 7 goals and 2 assists in 22 matches.

I would much rather Nova stay in the Netherlands, but I'm not sure that Reading couldn't use him in the Championship...

  19. My hope to get him was dashed when a poster told he's not a free agent this summer. We're cash strapped and a scorer on the free would be almost irresistable to the board.
I don't get where the quoted tweeter got his info from, unless he reads my posts in this thread and made the wrong conclusions:D

Truth is 'Noord would get him to bring in the Gatorades, so no, thanks but no thanks.

He thinks Nova's not good enough for Feynoord, so he'd be bought by Feynoord, then spend all his time on the bench. Euphemistically he'd be a water-boy.

  24. Ah. Well, you only can find out if you test it.
Giving Robin van Persie is in talks with Feyenoord to become a specialist coach with them I would want that chance if I was Nova.
As I posted before where as a striker would you get the tutoring of Makaay/Kuyt/van Persie to polish your striking capabilities. Even if you fail at Feyenoord you will be worth far more as a player than without it, given the coaching you had.
