    Does anyone know much about Fortuna? It's a small club right; usually in the lower divisions?

    Change the uniforms and you could credibly say this is a mid table MLS game. Terrible viewing.

    Ajax is better than any MLS team, but Fortuna worse. Big gap in the spending and infrastructure so in turn precision of the top and bottom teams in the Eredivisie. Just a sleepy start from Ajax.

    Nova, hardly sees the ball but when he gets it, he knows what to do with it. I think he only touched it twice in 56 minutes.

    Did Nova switch numbers? I swore he’s been wearing #9. Though numbers are impossible to see on those kits on TV. Nightmare for commentators

    Fortuna has a very weak midfield. no wonder they can't get anything going.

  8. Nope, his number is 19. Lisandro Semedo has nr 9.

  9. Mmm, Semedo injured and out. Means Nova with less attacking support. Man, hoping for a lucky shot from Nova....has nothing to do with Feyenoord-Ajax rivalry...it's true:whistling:Can't he get a Pulisic lucky goal please...

    Nova, with an excellent pass, his teammate should have scored.

    Had some shaky first touches on bouncing balls he could have corralled in the first 45. Could work on body control.

    The second 45 he was much better when Sittard was controlling possession a bit more and playing to his feet. Had some nice moments, that could have yielded a goal production.

    Best was probably shifting passed 2 defenders on the wing and making a pinpoint cross-field pass to a teammate for what could have been an assist.

    Also, in the corner of the box he steered around one and a half defenders and delivered a shot that may have been ticketed for the far corner but it was deflected by the formidable De Ligt on the way.

    Had a good chance toward the end on a header off a cross but it was too loopy.

    In addition had a cheeky back-heel to play a teammate on but nothing came from it. Decent performance in the end for him and Sittard, but no goals for either.

    Only watched the last 45. Nova was devoid of service most of the half but when he did see ball he created problems for Ajax and chances for Fortuna. Nova’s movement is so fluid and smart. A brilliant pass and a header he quite couldn’t enough pace behind could have resulted in two goals for the home side. A little bit unlucky. What I’m seeing week in and week out from Nova really makes me think what he could do on a decent side with good service.

    Sure hope he gets more PT in the friendlies. Just in time to score his first goal for us. I wanna see him up top with Weah or Wood.

    @bshredder

    Has there been any discussion among people you may have spoken with about his lack of minutes in prior NT games? Has he under-performed in training? What gives?
