Wow...What Brasil is doing right now to Germany has been done to USA 2 years ago? What a fantastic dribble by Katia! It reminds me of Maradona's score against England in WC 86.

Germany looks very slow against the fast, technical Brasilians. Germany has been using big, tall bodies to win games all along, but it does not work playing Brazilians..

Not really. Germany has played badly all tournament. The attack hasn't been very creative, the midfield kinda shaky and our defense has been off all tournament. I'm almost kinda glad we're losing, I hate it when we play poorly and still win ... we need a little wake-up call!

Playing poorly still wins...Is it the trademark of a champion?...:)...I think that happens to USA right now too...If there's another US-Brazil final, I place all my bets on Brazil.

Chritiane (11) makes German girls look like cones right now...I have never seen Germany look pretty bad as right now...Brasil dominates completely and it's scary to play against them for whatever team. Germnay focus on Katia (10), but Cristiane (11) is as good as her..

wow, what a result... I can only imagine how big the Brazilians are going to feel stepping into the final game. I hope US wins against Japan and gets some redemption from Brazil but I see it mighty hard to accomplish....

If Brazil go up against USA in the final, the US has to really switch up their backline. Markgraf is horrible against a team like Brazil. All she knows how to do is back up and give the opponent room, and hope they make a mistake with the ball.

From what we saw today, Brazil is very good on the counter. 3-6-1 Anyone?

    its Marta, not "Katia".

Maradona dribbled an entire team. Starting from his defense field. I think Marta´s goal remembered much more some Romário goals.

now, I am FAAAR from being a feminist, but I think its quite "wrong" to use the expression "MOTM". Lets use WOTM.

    Re: Semifinal 1: NOR/BRZ vs. GER/SWE [R]

Marta reminds me a lot of Romario, except that she clearly has a better attitude and will most likely have more of an impact on the game. I think the WOTM was split between Marta and Cristane, with Marta having the edge. She displays more of a willingness to defend and assist her teammates.
