I guess this answers the question about Guadaloupe playing World Cup qualifiers. Costa Rica destroyed them.

This will be a good match though I must give my biased opinion and say Mexico is going to take this game and the GC. I do wish CRC best of luck though.

This is going to be an interesting game. I was pissed when Aguirre decided to play without the euros (save Gio), but to be honest these home based players are playing better every game.

Looking forward to playing against a strong team like Costa Rica.

LOL, couldn't you find an older picture of Costa Rica? :D:p

Let's just hope for a clean match, with no 'interference' from referee calls benefitting either team.

Not sure, but Hernan Medford was still a player then (bottom right) so it's old as hell.

That jersey is from 98, I have it. Plus that blond guy is Kenneth Paniagua, he didn't last much at that level. But he still helped us (CSH) get that last championship.

I´m uncomfortable with our defening, but my money´s on us right now. Playing well together as a team, well-coached, Saborio on fire...blah blah blah. El Tri just has too many problems (Aguirre´s suspension just the tip of the iceberg.)

If Warner wants more cash he will make it a MEX-USA final, with MEX taking the trophy as a rematch from 07..... but who knows it might even end up CR vs. HON in the final...

it shall be a very interesting match. Mainly because both of the teams are so unpredictable. Would it surprise you if any team won? Looking at what is happening in this gold cup and in the hex, Costa Rica should be the favorites. Mexico has a B- team playing while CR has most of it's starters. CR has chemistry within the team, they know each other and look better as a team. It sure has helped the confidence level spaniking guadalupe while mexico barely got a goal in with a 9 men gwada team. Kenton knows his players and will be on the field motivating them while giving tactical direction. Aguirre will leave a gameplan but will not head the team for battle.

All the signs point to CR winning this match. BUT, i really think CR has a little trouble beating mexico. the last time they have played each other i saw a bad mexico outplay a better Costa Rica. If CR can only come out to play and not wait for mex, i think they have a better shot.

I think whomever scores first will win the game.

so i will have to make my prediction and take the underdog.. MEx wins 1-0

It breaks me to see CR lose.. sorry ticos i always root for your team, but on Thursday i will be wearing la Verde..

I hope we win...but im a little worried since the last few times we've played Mexico...our players seem to sh*t their pants once Mexico takes the lead...Mexico is the one team in CONCACAF we haven't been able to beat lately...it's tough to give a prediction in matches like these...both teams looked better on Sunday...but they played against minnows...i think it will go into penalties.

that's exactly how i feel.. Even though i feel CR is better than any central american team, i think we have a better chance of winning in saprissa than san pedro sula or el cuscatlan right now.

something about the CR players... for some reason they don't perform well against mexico. like the mex players against the US..
