Even with a weakend squad - USA to win comfortably I presume? Me and my mate are coming over to NY from Wales on Wednesday and will be taking in the Gold Cup final. I'm hoping for a USA-Mexico final - already got our tickets, but I presume such a game will be a sell-out? As a Cardiff City fan, its been good to see Guadeloupe do so well. One of our squad players, Miguel Commingues, plays for them and is a fairly decent player. Also taking an interest as to how Kenny Cooper is doing for the US. He remains strongly linked with a move to Cardiff - his goal scoring record in the MLS seems pretty good. On the bench for the Honduras game? (On a side note - best way from Manhattan to Giants Stadium by public transport? Will there be special-laid a busses from Penn Station?)
A train station recently opened at the Meadowlands. From Penn Station the fastest would be to take an NJ Transit Train to Secaucus Junction and then switch to the train going to Giants Stadium. I met some cool Hondurans over in the Panama supporters section in Philly. and I was very happy in seeeing how u guys came out massively to support your squad.. the parking lots were bathed in blue!! so, estoy con ustedes catrachos!!!
Bob Bradley has stated that he will not call in any of the 7 alternates for the rest fo the tourney....so the US will play with who they have. Seeing how they had a tough time with Panama I'd think its safe to say that Honduras will be the favorite in this game, the US team is just way too undermanned. The pressure is all on Honduras hopefully they crack and we'll see if the US can pull off an upset.
If the USA loses to Honduras in the Gold Cup ever, we need to just give up the sport entirely.... no excuses we need to win and we need to win with ease.

This US team is not that much better than Honduras.. Honduras please shut them up!! ha I want mexico to beat CR and win the thing but now that alot of ppl have brought it up it would be a nice change of pace that a CA team wins... but obviously i want Mexico to win..

LOLZ... the Catrachos can't cross midfield because they keep getting hacked by the US... that referee is VERY permissive. If the US gets ahead I predict Honduras will start fouling hard in retribution.
