Been pretty impressed with Altan (from what I make out on this dodgy stream). Looks like the best attacking player for yall

Didnt watch the 2nd half but everyone said the goalie was garbage. Hope we have someone better.

Altan was amazing at the 10 spot great vision, light feet. Hope he's not out the next game.

Well that left a bitter taste. Don't get me wrong, we play relatively well against one of the favorites at this level in Concacaf but we had them...:'(

    Negatives:
    * We can't hold on to a result to save our lives.

*Gilder is still error prone. I feel like a goalkeeper is the only position we should look abroad.
    he hasn't :'(

    * We still struggle with speed and height but that's not new. Let's hope we don't shit the bed against Panama.

*Our boys should be praised por salir jugando en todas. But we gave too many silly turnovers. Against a panama who presses at home I wouldn't take too many risks.

*Our best player Altan left the pitch injured. We need him healthy damn it.

*Guay dissapointed. He plays in a better league, it should show. Also, I'm not convinced by the LB Miguel Gonzales

    Positives:

    * We looked more cohesive than Honduras at times even though we only had 2 months. Great work by the coaching staff.

*Pedro Altan el mejor by a long shot. I think we've found Moyo's successor.

*Estrada muy seguro for the most part. La Doble contencion Durban-Brolin bastante salida. Garcia, Martinez and Palacios should be the starting trident.

*We got a point, that's always positive

Finally I gave a line up the day Erick Gonzalez was named coach
    le di a 5/11, it would've been 6/11 if yanez wasn't injured.

Highlights from Honduran TV, sorry if it doesn't show enough Guate plays, it's the only thing I could find that had a decent quality on it:

We'll have to get a positive result against Panama (who beat nicaragua 6-0). Especially, when we face el salvador, our direct rival on paper, next.

The worst part is that due to Belize not participating, el salvador will only have played one game (us 2) before facing us. We'll probably have suspensions too (Axel, Estrada, Miguel, Durban, Garcia, Guay received yellow cards against honduras).

Also I hope Lemus isn't reading anything on social media. The dude looks insecure as it is. We don't need any extra pressure on the kid.

On the positive side, Altan will play tomorrow.

Every replay of Honduras taking a shot on goal, Lemus looks lost. Even the commentators called him the weak link. Not very comforting that our last and most important line of defense is the weakest.

Panama game will really show who we are. Hope everyone steps it up because Altan will be the focus of Panama's defense.

Game has just started, so far it's all Panama, and we haven't been able to hold on to the ball or get past the half.

10 minutes in. Still no change Panama is playing pretty rough and the ref is letting them play.

HUGE!!!! F-UP from the back line. Crappy pass between the centrales and Panama takes off with a 2 on 1. Thankfully shot goes high.

Playing like that will make this a blowout. Panama's speed and touch is night and day to us

GREAT ATTACK from Guate, good shot on goal and their portero saves Panama.

Corner kick from Panama is saved by Lemus (yes, I was schocked too) then headed in by Panam (heads and shoulders above our boys) but ref calls foul on Panama, disallowed goal

Word! I'm glad we're not bunkering down AND we've been able to put together a few shots. We just dont have enough speed to counter theirs otherwise we'd have more attacks.

Unlike against honduras, we're not trying to build from the back. We're scared of turnovers due to to their intense pressing.

Either way they heard you and pulled out the W. Total shocker of a win for us but hell i'll take it. Next game is going to be a tough one though. Yellow cards are starting to pile up.

Puta, hoy puro pelotazo jugamos y ganamos. Contra honduras dimos toque por ratos y empatamos. I'm a little conflicted.

    Negatives:

    * We'll be missing 3 players against el salvador. Axel, Estrada and Durban. Let's hope whoever replaces them perform.

    * We couldn't put 3 passes together for the most part. It was like watching guate under Carlos Ruiz (last u-20 ) all over again.

*Gilder still an accident waiting to happen. Though tbf he had a better game today.

*The left back gonzalez is too error prone. Idk if the one on the bench is better.

*We commit too many fouls near the box. A dangerous thing against the salvies since they seem to have a FK specialist.

    *We're tired.

    Positives:

    * 3 points against the home team.

    * We held the score with relative "ease".

*The ones with the most experienced in la liga Nacional showed why it's important to play regularly in the league. Estrada, Axel, Durban and Altan no les peso la gente en la Tribuna.

    * We might have found the forward for the future. Martinez has height, speed, workrate, movement, and decent technique. He also seems to be prolific judging by the friendlies.
