What I hope is that Claveri is able leave many "disciples" behind once his reign is over. One of the essential things in Iceland's meteoric rise is their number of licensed coaches they have produced since their overhaul 10 years ago. And so far, we have Douglass Zamora (champion with suchi), Edwin Vasquez (Current Suchi coach) & Erick Gonzalez (U-20 coach). A eso hay que sumarle Plata y maybe Luis Swisher. And hablando de Swisher he's been working with youth teams at NY Redbulls and DC united and now at FC Boulder. I think in A few years He Should be A firm candiate for out u-17 http://fcboulder.com/our-people/luis-swisher On a side note I spent like 2 days in Boulder during winter a few years ago, and the only way uno se calienta con ese frio en todo el Midwest es con Guaro y con Gueras, haha
Pero asi como se le puede ganar a CR we can also lose against the Salvies. If one word could define our NT it'd be inconsistency
Does tournament even fall on Fecha Fifa? I doubt that Costa Rica would even bother to even call up their best players for this Tournament, especially since in this group the 3rd placed team is pretty much guaranteed to beat Nicaragua or Belize for that 5th place. Also keep in mind that the Salvadoran NT is a mess right now they don't even have a coach and have not played a game since the WC Qualifiers.
No, but I believe Oscar Ramirez has already said he's gonna take a squad of players from the CR league and MLS guys if they're released by their teams. Still tho, even a team comprised of players from their local league is better than Guate or ES, sadly.
Even then, CR siempre nos gana con la camisa, even the few times we manage to outplay them they still win. Kinda of what happens between el Salvador and Honduras. That's without mentioning the fact that their second string is still superior to our starters unfortunately. Though on the brightside I feel we can compete if we continue our slight ascendancy with our current coach.
When will '06 Guatemala be back? I was pissed as phuck in my people's car when I heard Pescadito scored on us in San Pedro Sula that night y'all eliminated us.
That was 1-0 in the Mateo Flores. And in San Pedro Sula we were once again winning 0-2 but ended 2-2. Goals by Fish and Pezzarossi. The game that ended in Guatemala 1-0, Hondurans claim the goal was offside, what do you think?

What's their reasoning for doing this?! Is it a payback move or are they like f it, we're suspended so why pay these guys?!
No money from FIFA so there's no money to keep the lights on. Our fed is officially a ghost town until further notice.
http://www.concacaf.com/article/deadlines-set-for-fedefut says that if Guatemala's suspension is not lifted by December 9, they can't play in the Copa Centroamericana.
This is the best I could find. Remate de Pezzarossi, ball rebounds to Fish, y media vuelta del Pescado y Gol.
