Luan.... Changed our game in the Olympics after FA got dropped and then during the friendly against Colombia, Brazil got livelier when he came on and helped score the only goal of the game. Plus he can kind of play anywhere up front. I don't know why he isn't linked to any clubs in Europe yet but this kid is the real deal.
He was in talks with Leicester. Best move of his career avoiding that mess. I also think Liverpool is interested. I rate Gabigol higher than Luan but he needs to find playing time.
Oh yes, I remember the Liverpool talk. I think he could have done well taking over for Sturridge but I don't know if it'd be wise for him to make a move the summer before the World Cup. As for Gabigol, didn't his family get like 10me from his deal with Inter? Greed fcked him over unfortunately but who would have thought that Inter team would freeze him out with only Icardi as their striker. His best bet for 2018 is to make the move back to Brazil and start scoring goals asap because as of now he has been overshadowed by Gabriel Jesus.
Yeah Gabigol needs to be loaned out this summer and we need to establish who our backup goalie is going to be in case Allison gets injured!!
We're lucky in this regard. He only got called up because of the UCL tie hype against BVB(despite the loss in the 2nd tie). He should be starting but doubt Allison loses the spot unless something major happens. But Tite's defense has him locking down #1. South American qualifiers is one thing but World Cup is another though.
It's curious to know if Tite will be experimenting with some fringe players during the upcoming WCQ's this summer and I hope even for just 1 match he tries with 3 centerbacks in a 3-4-3 system!! And find D. Alves replacement, cause we cant go to Russia'18 depending on a 35-year-old rightback!!
Tite participated in TV Gazeta's "Mesa Redonda" (Round Table) show and made a number of comments. 3/28/2018 friendly at Germany: "When the time comes we will be prepared to face Germany. We have time to affirm, for me to improve, to get to know athletes, to give them playing time." Brazil's form: "First of all, what gives me the most pride is the way the NT has been playing, its performance." Other contenders: "I will now also begin to evaluate other teams. France has a young squad, but very fast and technical. Belgium has perhaps its best generation ever. Germany is recycling; some important players leaving, others coming in, but now I'll be better able to evaluate them. Spain continues with its quality, even with some athletes leaving. Italy is always strong." Players' behavior after Tite arrived: "it's the whole sum mf our work. In soccer, the manager taps potential and clubs complement. If they're in poor form at the club level, at the NT they won't do well. Paulinho recovered his form regardless of the fact he plays in China. Coutinho and Firmino went back to their clubs well from the NT and did well at Liverpool." What left the biggest mark during his "studying" period: "I can't forget when (former Boca Juniros manager Carlos ) Bianchi said 'when we were going to face you (Corinthians, 2013 Libertadores), your team had a very high level of concentration; we were unable to get you off your game, with a foul, with trash talk. Brazilians have that, but your team didn't." His observation about our team knowing how to play in the face of provocations left a mark." List of players selected for NT first for the boss: "I keep track of everything. 56 players in this last call-up, in video and games and practice. That being done, until the last moment, we keep up with each athlete's technical and physical condition. At 10:30am we talk with CBF president Marco Polo del Nero, I submit to him the call-up list, then I have a press conference with the announcement. It's the same every time." Argentina: "Classifica." (Deliberately left untranslated)
Emerson of Roma has decided to play for Italy. Could be a big loss because he has been really good this season and only turned 23 recently. Felipe Luis is 31 and Marcelo, about to be 29, and quite frankly should be replaced with a more balanced player. A bit concerning that Tite is stuck with those 2.
Should honestly be in the squad for one of the 2. And even as a Madridista, I'll say probably for Marcelo. Club form is spotty at best right now and even on his best offensive displays, his defending can leave us fcked in situations. Been average to almost a liability for Real these past few weeks.
LB is stack at the moment and it isn't like someone has underperformed either. If he choose Italy so be it because IMO Tite shouldn't call him over the other 2 at the moment. I also call Alex Sandro before him as well.
Bayern trying to buy our star player just to bench him the season before the World Cup to weaken us. Bayern interested in Paulinho. Le Bayern Munich veut #Paulinho ! Pretty funny though.

The Tite passive ability of increasing players skill level by 15% only applies to guys that actually play. RA about to get that offer from Real Madrid soon.
