Especially considering that both losses came without our main striker (Mane red card changed the game vs City) or one of our most creative midfielders!

We finished in th etop 4 last year and were probably the best to watch...

no reason we can't do that again this year.....

We probably won't catch City, but no reason we can't overhaul the rest....

Lol, where was I calling for Klopp to be sacked? To paraphrase your first statement basically what I am saying is if he is not improving the team then like every manager his employment needs to be considered.

I do have concerns but I will see how things pan out at the end of the season, or next, or the one after that.

What I find interesting is that you propose we should never sack a manager? Does this mean we shouldn't have sacked Rodgers because he almost won the league one year? Or any previous manager because they should just be given time to sort things out. To be honest sounds like an unreasonable over-simplification to me.

I am curious at what point should we consider removing a manager? What criteria should we use?

It's not but feel free to continue over-simplifying stuff, life is more complex then a one sentence assessment ;)

for my part, I'd say if we don't finish in the top four this year and next year, then in Klopp's case he'd have a case to answer. However, right now he has made us a formidable force again, usually good to watch, and I think this will start to show again when we get our first team (13 or 14) fully fit.... and hopefully buy VVD in January.

Let's ask ourselves what the verdict would be now if Mane hadn't done his Bruce Lee imitation and we had beaten City....? Because it's quite possible...

I'm fairly comfortable saying we probably shouldn't ever sack Klopp. Considering how fundamentally he changed Mainz and BVB after 7 years, I'm happy to let him fundamentally change and improve LFC over the next several years.

I said when we hired him I bet he'll have 7 full seasons with us.
I said I bet he'll win two leagues, a European trophy, and a domestic cup.
Still plenty of time for that to happen.
Nobody else I'd rather have at the club.

Just one domestic cup in seven years. Sack him. Not. Good. Enough. ;)
