I'm researching a World Cup preview piece I am writing for a news outlet here in the U.S. (don't want to say which one here but I'll tell you privately if you care about these things). As part of this I'm looking to interview somebody who is a specialist of sorts on the Slovenian national team and can discuss how they might match up with the U.S. My knowledge of Slovenian is limited to "Dober dan". (Wait a tick, is that even Slovenian?) But I do speak German fluently, which I have found to be somewhat helpful.
