looks like Soto injured himself in a duel, with pain on the right tibial bone

that's info I found. Not an injury expert so no idea what that means or if he'll have short or long term layoff.

Google translate: Our tip Sebastian Soto came out feeling pains in the tibia in today's friendly against TSV Hartberg. Now it is waiting for the diagnosis and that is nothing serious. Strength Soto!

That holdup play is the next step for him professionally. He's got all the tools in the box, but being a strong back to goal option in the break and on longballs is what could make him a real talent. Especially with his physical gifts.

I think it could be a good thing for him to be there but Im quite sure he needs first team minutes. Sadly I would rather him go to Netherlands or any other place securing first team minutes if Hannover is too dumb to get him those. I get they want back in the BL1 but valuing older players that are near retirement is stupid. A club has to have a plan and design and Germany is becoming ever present on serving youth..
Hannover could do well to embrace it as well and become one of those teams that plays some youngsters showcasing their adaptability to that.

I think Soto will get first team football this season - Hannover have let go 4 of their main attacking options (Wood, Bebou, Asano, Muller) and Soto impressed towards the end of last season. He should get his chance.

I'd be kind of disappointed if he ended up staying at Hannover. Not that it's a horrible spot to be in at his age, assuming he gets minutes this year, but after his WC goal scoring, I was thinking he'd get a decent offer from a team in a first division somewhere.

I’ve wondered how much teams really pay attention to this tournament.

He is REALLY good with that one touch layoff pass when his back is to the goal, and has a really nice shot. Hannover would be foolish to not give him some action this year

pass with back to goal alone makes him better than zardes if he gets a sniff at the first team
