Why on earth would the Galaxy make an official statement before seeing a specialist? Just baffling.

    but but but

Our crack social media team was promoting that he was "not seriously injured" 12 hours ago. I'm so confused.

They wanted you to buy non-refundable tickets to upcoming home games in the day in-between.

There goes our best Right Back!

(He still might be healthier then Robbie Rogers, for all the information they've given us on that situation).

When they posted that, I immediately thought the next pic we see of him will be this:

… and yet more built-in excuses for Curt.

“You know those early season injuries put us behind the eight-ball. We just couldn’t get a good run of games with the first team and the season slipped away from us.”

So sorry to hear this! So PO'd at Honduras for trying to take him (and others) out on purpose. That foul was nasty. This could be a big negative on his whole career. Terrible.

To be clear, my comment here wasn't to suggest the season will be a disappointment, rather the spate of early injuries gives Curt a built in excuse for failure.

That said I do think this season will be a disappointment.

    Well ****.

    Just ****.

Feel awful for him. Went from the high of scoring his first goal for the US to being out for an extended period. Hope he recovers and comes back. He's young so it should just be a matter of time.

We're hosed. Glad we kept Husidic.

I know that as a professional athlete, Seb is likely to get much better medical care the rest of us. However, based upon the brief research that I have done, it's quite possible that Lletget will miss the beginning of next season, as it isn't just a single surgery but most likely two. The first to reposition the bones with screws and wires and one or more to remove the hardware. There is also the possibility of arthritis and life-long pain.

That was such a cheap, dirty foul as well. Really sucks for DaBoy.
