Seb made his debut in a reserve match on Tuesday. http://www.ntfc.co.uk/page/ReservesDetail/0,,10425~1786963,00.html Signed this summer and had to wait for International clearance, he played 3 years at Oakland University, born in the US, parents are English.
Hmmm, not bad. He's a a 6'3'' striker and one to keep an eye on if you're a fan of English football. League Two should be a good level for him. I hope he gets some playing time.
Its a good level to start out at. I'd say he'll play some reserve team games, maybe get some time in cup matches if the draw is right. Sounds like his header was just wide in the reserve game. Defense was solid and it was tough for Harris and his strike partner to create chances.
Harris has been regularly on the bench for Northampton, but he hasn't made his debut yet. He has started every reserve match so far. One of the reports on Northampton's site mentioned that he started a game at CB. At 6'3" it's possible he's being converted to a defender.

Andy Holt and John Curtis and only rated 50/50 while Sampson has hinted that American striker Seb Harris could make his debut for the Cobblers. http://www.northampton.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=172842
He's getting regular playing time for the reserves. He got an assist in a recent reserve game against Norwich.
Sebby came on in the 78th minute yesterday in Northampton's 3-2 loss to Southampton in the FA Cup second round.
Update: The contracts keeping American striker Seb Harris and defender Patrick Kanyuka at the club are also due to expire in January, but both were on the bench at Barnet and both remain in the manager's plans. http://www.northamptonchron.co.uk/sport/COBBLERS-Contract-offered-to-Simon.5945317.jp So we'll see...
I believe his contract is up at the end of the season. Hopefully he can do something to get an extension.
He played 18 minutes in Northamptons latest game a 2-0 win over Hereford. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/eng_div_3/8497086.stm
Harris came on in the 64th minute today and scored the winner in Northampton's 2-1 victory over Cheltenham. He's made progress this season. At first he was playing in the reserves and usually not dressing. Now he is a usual sub. Perhaps this will give him an opportunity to start.

Sebby gets a new 1 year deal.................. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/n/northampton_town/8700844.stm
Things look goos for the guy. With most of the teams offensive threats having left, it seems Seb will get an opportunity to challenge for a starting spot vs whatever new signings they may bring in.
