Hmmm, not bad. He's a a 6'3'' striker and one to keep an eye on if you're a fan of English football. League Two should be a good level for him. I hope he gets some playing time.

Its a good level to start out at. I'd say he'll play some reserve team games, maybe get some time in cup matches if the draw is right.

Sounds like his header was just wide in the reserve game. Defense was solid and it was tough for Harris and his strike partner to create chances.

Harris has been regularly on the bench for Northampton, but he hasn't made his debut yet. He has started every reserve match so far. One of the reports on Northampton's site mentioned that he started a game at CB. At 6'3" it's possible he's being converted to a defender.

    Snip:

New Cobblers boss Ian Sampson has a small injury crisis ahead of Northampton`s JPT 2nd Round match against Bournemouth.

    ...

Andy Holt and John Curtis and only rated 50/50 while Sampson has hinted that American striker Seb Harris could make his debut for the Cobblers.

He's getting regular playing time for the reserves. He got an assist in a recent reserve game against Norwich.

I believe his contract is up at the end of the season. Hopefully he can do something to get an extension.

Harris came on in the 64th minute today and scored the winner in Northampton's 2-1 victory over Cheltenham.

He's made progress this season. At first he was playing in the reserves and usually not dressing. Now he is a usual sub. Perhaps this will give him an opportunity to start.

That should be his first goal for the club.

    HARRIS HOPING FOR NEW DEAL

"[My contract] is up at the end of the season but hopefully they will talk to me to sign again," Harris said. "Just crossing my fingers and hoping I did enough!
I would enjoy staying longer to play for the Cobblers."
