Lei recien que la Fiorentina de Italia fue relegada a la Serie C1 del futbol Italiano. Supuestamente por no poder pagar 22 millones de dolares...cantidad de dinero que representa el poder jugar en Serie B (yo no sabia que bajaron a segunda division). Bueno, la cosa es que ahora como no tenian la plata para jugar en serie B....los bajaron a serie C1.... Se imaginan que hicieran algo asi en Chile o en otros paises....el mejor futbol se veria en serie C....y no quedaria nadie en primera division.... cosas del futbol... Que mal por la Fiorentina....Batistuta deberia hacer algo...le hicieron una estatua al tipo en esa ciudad.
Fiorentina Lose Bankruptcy Battle 08/01/2002. Fiorentina have officially lost their battle against bankruptcy and it will now be decided which league they are to play in next season. Patron Vittorio Cecchi Gori had promised to provide the £13 million to save the side but the deal fell through. A statement on the club's official site read: "The federal council has given mandate to the presidency, composed by Dr Carraro, Dr Abete, and Dr Mattarese to study a solution for Fiorentina's participation in Serie C. The presidency will then meet with the Serie C League board to evaluate the various hypothesis." Due to the club's status in Italian football, they will not be made to play in an amateur league.
