Hah! Maybe that's the real reason behind Audi Field holding only 19,400. [Joe Pesci, Goodfellas] "Bing!, boom!, pow! My head's about this big, I'm seein' stars!"
FWIW one of the other Southern Uniteds is having some problems with their stadium. http://www.espnfc.us/atlanta-united...mercedes-benz-stadium-delayed-until-september They share it with the Falcons (or will).
If this new BS upgrade was worth a crap, we could have a sticky post that would appear at the top of every page with a link to the picture. How will I know where I'm looking without that pile of old tires ...... nice to see them smooth out some dirt.
An SI piece on the LAFC Stadium and how it ties into the club branding, building, and MLS3.0: https://www.si.com/planet-futbol/20...ansion-2018-penn-thorrington-stadium-standard As I noted in the FO thread the DC Stadium should be the Catalyst for a team rebirth but seems to be a standalone entity that is long overdue but not part of the overall on field/ FO performance. Details weren’t overlooked in the stadium’s cheaper sections, either. The six LAFC supporters groups will have access to a dedicated spot behind the north goal. It’ll have more than 3,200 seats, its own entrance, a standing section, a 34-degree grade and an upper-deck bar with cheaper beer and a view of the field and city skyline. Penn said club executives have been working with supporters since day one. The LAFC Experience hasn’t been restricted to premium customer. 'jealous guy here"
