No we support our team in the NASL, but that cannot stop us for also trying to raise support for our team to take the next step.
Nice defelection try by bringing up the Cosmos. That's a red card on you buddy. Let's not start mimicking realignment NCAA style. Or is that what's happening?
Red card ? LOL K I directly addressed the question FIRST and foremost. I deflected nothing. I then added further context and an example of the alleged accusation. What's worse than red ? Purple ? Yeah, purple card on you for not reading ....
not purple blue, as in blue in the face from reading ur post. How nice to have the evil Cosmos to point to. Meanwhile, ponder for moment, where NASL was before the evil cosmos came forth.
I guess choking on the truth would turn you blue ... fair point. I know exactly where the NASL was before the Cosmos, I (we) were literally here. Where, exactly, is the NASL because of the Cosmos ? I know that we were here before them and had our SSS planned and under construction before they were announced. I also know what Hartman has invested more in the sub-MLS level than anyone, including said Cosmos. So yeah, exactly was the NASL before and where is the NASL now ?
Well, u do have your own version of Sounders fans now. TBF, some Sounder fans, who invented the game and MLS , have actually had a huge impact on MLS....no matter how excruciatingly annoying they can be. Your version is annoying, and thinks they have had an impact, when they really haven't all that much. Just a decently supported NASL team that gorilla markets off of MLS, talks a big game and is waiting for a stadium that seems more of a fantasy as each day passes.
Like I said to the commentor earlier bring up the Cosmos was a great tactic. Isn't this about ur team jumping league? And the NCAAish manner it is being done? That's the reality, correct? Nothing wrong w/ambition my friend
I love how you have yet to do anything other than say the same thing over and over. Perhaps explaining yourself and what you're getting at would help ... but that's just me. If you just want to spout something out and run along then, mission accomplished. However, if you actually have something to discuss .... I'm open for that. Nothing about the Cosmlols is mine. Nothing.
Deeproot Funds Cup seems to have been a great success having FC Dallas coming to San Antonio for a pre season cross league sell out!!. Congrats to the Scorpians and FCD for participating in such an event for a good cause and from what i read it was not a very friendly friendly. Regional cross league pre season games, IMHO, are great for soccer. I see the game was not televised but was webcast. I would like to see the replay what is the easiest link for me to do so. Are there any other NASL vs USL Pro regional battles coming up before each starts their season?
Wow! I was hoping but didn't think it would happen. I think he still has the ability to have quite an impact and has some gas left in the tank at 32, but he does need to get quality service from the midfield. We'll see, hope he stays healthy.
In terms of potential left, this is miles ahead of Cunningham (and a 3 year age difference too). I'm quite optimistic ... reports out of the first couple of days of practice is that his touch/footwork/etc are phenomenal ... just needs fitness (obviously with the surgery/etc).
According to wikipedia he did not score during the 2013 season http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eric_Hassli
He had an injury last season and was mainly coming on as a late sub. Key for Eric this year - Stay healthy!
San Antonio Scorpions 2 MLS's Houston Dynamo 0 this afternoon, goals from the Polish Express Thomas Zahorski and Restrepo!
Remains to be seen what Hassli can still do, but you guys have been adding a lot of pieces, if they can gel fast I see you near the top with New York and Tampa Bay this year. Looking forward to coming down for the cosmos game this year and checking out Toyota Park.
Pablo Campos tears both his ACL and MCL... Will miss entire season most likely. Ouch. http://www.startribune.com/sports/blogs/251494331.html
