Hey, I am trying to plan a trip to Ecuador this year and would like to see a 1st division match while in Quito. Could someone tell me what dates the torneo apertura and torneo clausura run? I did not have much luck looking on the internet. Thanks.

If I am not mistaken, the season ends in December or Jan. The reason why there isn't a schedule might be because the 2nd phase begins after July.
So I assume the first season is generally from Feb to the beginning of July and the second season is generally from when to December or January??? Thanks.
That sounds about right, only that the second phase probably ends in November and then there is a form of mini-league with the top 6 teams by point accumulation from the 1st and 2nd phases. These aren't playoffs because they all play each other twice, home and away and the winner is again determined by point accumulation of the "ligilla" or "mini-league". Tell you the truth, it's a mess! Ecuador has had 3 different formats or so over the last 5 years.
