I don't really like what he's doing in defense, playing the angles/passing lanes and marking space instead of a man. Zakaria has been free a couple of times. However, I assume Tedesco is specifically asking him to do this.

McKennie with a great sliding block... Had another earlier too. MGB the better side though. Shalke with good passing, but lacking in final 1/3rd.
He got beat on the header off the corner to allow MGB to score. Not a horrible play, but he tried to push instead of challenge. MGB has looked more likely to score in general anyway.

He is having a very confident, effective game. I haven't watched him that closely much. Color me impressed. Shalke is just a few BPM off the rhythm. Got lucky there. that was kind of a cluster...
