    Okay, let's do it.

I'm in for a Chet North scarf. I have a design in my head, but I don't have the skills to translate it into graphics.

For Robb, Chad, Sam, anyone with the team, I'd like to have permission to use the current and former team logos (all four)

If someone can help me out with the artwork, please do:

Side one - background is the new light blue
    - Elements from left to right
    - Wiz 96 logo bottom to fringe (number of colors depending on price)
    - C H E T (dark blue)
    - Head shot of Chet
    - N O R T H (dark blue)
    - SKC logo bottom to fringe

Side two - background is the new dark blue
    - Elements from left to right
    - 08-10 Wizards logo, bottom to fringe
    -- K A N S A S C I T Y (large text spanning scarf on top)
-- TRADITON. HONOR. CHET NORTH. (small text under KANSAS CITY)
    - 97-07 Wizards logo, bottom to fringe (number of colors depending on price)

I see it being 3-6 colors with black, light blue, and dark blue. (Depending on pricing, the additional colors would only be used to fill in the Wiz/Wizards rainbows).

Chet's face being the two-tone "Che" style rendering.

As always, all you have to do to use the logos is go through an official MLS Licensee (adidas, Roughneck or Sportscarf for scarves). The licensee will pass the design on to the league and the team for comments/approval. Your biggest problem will always be hitting the minimums they require (and in this case I have no idea how the league would feel about the old marks being used.)

    Edit:

Let's keep all the licensing/legal/money discussions to another later thread.

Anyone with graphic arts ability willing to do some quick mock-ups.

Let's come up with a design first. I'll worry about licensing later.

One of the designers at Ruffneck is working on something.

If anyone else has a good design idea, let me know.

I wouldn't use a Ruffneck manufacturer...not even close to the quality that we are use to getting...just a warning fyi

Like I said. let's worry about the other stuff later. When it came up in a recent a thread. A bunch of folks said they would "totally buy a Chet North scarf."

I'm beginning to think maybe that's not true.

I'm looking for help with a scarf design here. If we can't get a design, or nobody is interested in helping pay for them, then none of the rest of this matters.

At least not enough people to put the grunt work in to get it done.

I'd buy one, but I don't have the skills for what you're needing.

Hence bringing in the scarf design professionals.

Okay. Let's do it this way -

Who is willing to buy one? I think if we can get to 30 or so at $15/ea, I can probably absorb the remaining losses.

Sorry, I said in the other thread I'd be in for at least one - didn't think to post here again. I can help with the design if need be, but it will have to wait a few weeks. I'm leaving town next week for Steamboat.

Here's the first batch of designs based on my initial request. What needs to be changed/tweaked?

Those are awesome. I would buy one for sure. Personally I like 1 or 3. I like the dark border on 1 and the use of both blues on 3.

    Excellent!!

My choice would be #3....I like the dark blue...I think the image show better against the dark.

I think #3 is the best of the bunch, for the same reasons as above.
    I'd probably buy one.
