I took a week off and am back at work now, although I'm taking a few more days off next week. The missus will be off for three months.

Congrats! Our first was born a few months before WC 2002 Japan/Korea. On the plus side, I was someone who had trouble getting up early. By June of that year, the baby would wake up at 2:30, I'd rock him for awhile, put him back in the crib and say, "honey, I'm off to Fado for the 3:55 England Sweden kickoff. Have a blast.
