Congrats!!! he'll be behind future USNT creative midfielder Alessandro Zinedine Zidane Testani... granted he was born 10 months ago.

    It's a great feeling though, isn't it.

Nice, lots of room in there for several good soccer nicknames.

    Welcome to the world, Oliver.

    Oliverzinho?

I took a week off and am back at work now, although I'm taking a few more days off next week. The missus will be off for three months.

Or when he hits the "terrible twos/threes". My daughter just hit that, and I've started to wonder how much I can get for her on the black market. ;)

Congrats Bo and the Mrs... cigars all around...

Dear Young Oliver: Welcome to the World... you are born on 13 December in the Year of our Lord 2006 and blessed to be an American under President George Bush's wise counsel and stewardship...I pray for your future and would like to personally extend an invitation to you into the big tent of the GOP when you are old enough to step into the shoes of patriotism and lead our nation forward...

Make your Pa and Ma proud...

If our son decides that he's gay, he has our blessing.

If he ever develops a drug or alcohol addiciton, we'll stick by his side and help him through it.

If he ever gets somebody pregnant, we'll offer support and advice.

If he's ever convited of a major crime, such as murder or a heinous terrorist act, he'll still have our love.

    But if he becomes a Republican . . .

Not likely to happen, as Red Bull would have to play appealing soccer.

    Congrats!

Our first was born a few months before WC 2002 Japan/Korea. On the plus side, I was someone who had trouble getting up early. By June of that year, the baby would wake up at 2:30, I'd rock him for awhile, put him back in the crib and say, "honey, I'm off to Fado for the 3:55 England Sweden kickoff.

    :D

    Have a blast.
